Can't budge belly after baby

Okay. So to start off, since I was primary school I have been bigger then the rest and I did notice it quite a lot, not considerably bigger but just a bit chubbier. I've have never really like the way I look since I was very young. As I've grown I've lost most of it but can't seem to budge my belly. It's really making me depressed. I am 18 & have a six month old, since having her I'm slimmer than I was before but I just feel disgusting and horrible. Other people my age have had babies who are younger or the same age as my baby and they have got rid of it straight away. I have horrible love handles. I have tried multiple diets but they never last, I want to start excersizing but I don't know where to start. It's my birthday in a month and was hoping to lose a little bit of weight before it. I don't know how much I weigh but I am a size 12/14 in clothes.

I've cut out sugar and it's helped a lot. I also go to the gym 3 times a week and now actually know what I'm doing compared to the first few times when I nervously tried all the machines out :) is there a crèche at your leisure centre?

Tbh, I do eat quite a lot of sugary snacks so I think cutting out sugar may help me. I know it's going to be hard though, I'm not sure if there is one. I'm quite nervous to go to the gym as I feel people will be looking at me & jugding me. I know I sound stupid but I just feel terrible.

The first week sugar free was terrible... I'm so addicted :) plus, when I'm tired and want something to cheer myself up after looking after DC all day, I just want cake!!

Honestly, just give it a go. The leisure centre gym I go to is soooo mixed. Loads of ages, body shapes, etc. Everyone is kind of absorbed in their own thing, they won't be fussed about you I promise :)

size 12-14 is pretty average anyway, please don't be so hard on yourself. Youve only just had a baby!!

Thank you! I've been trying today and already had a piece of cake without thinkingBlush. I am going to pluck up the courage to give the gym a go!

Woohoo!!! Go for it :) I played it safe with an exercise bike the first time: easy! Bring headphones so you can watch tv. Such a nice break from children :)

Have you had a gym induction? Let me know how it goes Smile
