I want to lose between half a stone to a stone. I don't think I'm overweight but I havd definitely put some on and my clothes are all tight & uncomfortable.
I have become lazy and am eating too much crap. I have biscuits with the dc's after school wiith a cup of tea when I never used to. I don't even really enjoy them, it's just become habit.
My dc's are 5 & 9 and fussy. They like bland simple food. They do eat a lot of fruit and one of them is good with veg. They both have school dinners so sometimes just have a sandwichy tea or pasta/pizza with some salad.
I want to eat more healthy low fat mesls so have been looking for inspiration as I'm rubbish at meal planning. I had a look at Joe Wickes's book and like the majority of the recipes but can safely say my dc's would not.
So I'm interested to hear what other people do please. Will I just need to accept that I'll need to make different things every day for the dc's and me and possibly DH? How do you plan/shop/prepare for all this as well as working and doing everything else that needs doing. My mum always tells me that she made one meal a night and everyone ate it but it just doesn't work like that in this house😩
Also would appreciate suggestions as to how to get inspiration for weight loss meals. Should I follow a specific plan or just try and think more about what I'm eating and make it healthier? Will this be enough to lose the weight that I want to?
Thanks for any tips. I really want to feel better about myself and think I need to start by addressing my diet.

How do you eat healthy low fat meals when the rest of the family don't want to eat them?!
