I'm fat. I've put on 2 stone in the last year. There is a contributing medical factor but ultimately I'm just a lazy greedy carb demon who drinks too much. I've been feeling uncomfortable my clothes for weeks now but this morning bit the bullet and got on the scales: 12st 5lbs at only 5'3 Proper weeble territory.
It's my 37th birthday in 10 weeks. My present to myself is that I'm going to be 20lbs lighter than I am today.
Am cutting out alcohol and beige carbs (bread/spuds/pasta). Exercising every day and upping my water intake. Have just been and got a full shop of healthy food. Feeling very motivated and in control.
Breakfast: 2 eggs scrambled with peppered mackerel, red pepper, tomatoes, scallions and rocket.
Lunch: homemade veg soup
Dinner: baked chicken breast with homemade ratatouille
Snack: carrot sticks/pepper/small amount of nuts
Anyone else want to join me in making today the first day of their journey to a healthier future?
I list 2 pounds this week so I am below 13st but it was mostly due to a killer migraine at the weekend which meant I missed a couple of meals SW: 13st1 CW: 12st 13 GW 10st Chicken salad for tea tonight and oatcakes with cottage cheese, rocket and spring onions for lunch
