MFP advice

user1471553214 · 03/03/2017 11:51

Hi, I know there's a tread running but without wanting to trawl through it - could anyone advise if it's worth paying for MFP over using the free tracker and other bits in it?

I don't pay for it, don't see the point.

The app tells me everything I need to know

No. Occasionally there have been ads with pictures of spiders Shock but all the useful stuff is actually free. Love the app.... much faster than the site.

I've been using MFP on and off for a while and don't see anything in the paid for version that's worth paying for. Just more tracking of micronutrients that are never recorded in the first place, plus some basic data crunching that you could do in your own head easily enough.

You'll find you'll just get access to nutrients in food you've probably NEVER heard of.

MFP is about calorie counting, no point paying for something you get for free! Xx

I think I was just excited about being able to scan things with a barcode 😬

You can scan barcodes without having to pay for it.

Some of the results are interesting, though. The best one might have been a bag of carrots coming up as chilli chocolate!
