I'm really wanting to start this, I see all the before and after photos of women who have tried it & have lost loads of weight and look absolutely fantastic, but I can't help wondering if they are actually proper photos & not photoshopped, edited etc.. what I want to know is has anyone tried this and if you have, do you recommend it?
It's a lot of money to throw away if it doesn't work!!

It's a pyramid scheme and a scam, have a Google, the 'scientific research' is all paid for by the people making the pills. Also a lot of the people in the transformation photos although have transformed, did it through hard work not these tablets, there was a lot of media coverage about this a year or two ago.

It's an expensive lesson to learn.

Friend of mine claims to have lost loads with juice plus. She forgets to mention the significant amount of running she does and that she has two huge dogs she walks for miles.

Crazygrey I have never heard anything about it in the news but then I've probably not even noticed. Definitely going to give it a google though, I thought it was too good to be true tbh, 4 weeks to go from being a little over weight to having the body of a supermodel. Would be a dream If that would happen to me. 😂🙈

Swampy I do a lot of exercise, walking I do lunges up my stairs and stuff but I just can't seem to loose the weight, I eat healthy as well no carbs, a lot of fruit, veg and grilled chicken. I follow all the healthy recipes, I make my own smoothies and I'm still fat so was wondering if JP was what it's made out to be but obviously it isn't!! 😬

Gamerchick well that's why I thought I'd come to MN for some advice, I'm not one to throw loads of money away on something that I'd probably waste money on.

A friend did it and lost 8lbs in a week. She was thrilled. She'd put all but one of those pounds back on by the end of the following fortnight.

Well, you can't be eating no carbs if you're eating a lot of fruit!^

I make my own smoothies and I'm still fat

Definitely need to cut out that fruit

so was wondering if JP was what it's made out to be but obviously it isn't!!

No. Juice is horrifically bad for you - way, way too many carbs. And as for the actual company itself? Well dodgy.

Wrinkles is that because she had stopped doing?
I did hear that if you stopped taking JP supplements that you soon but all the weight back on again.

Think about it! How on earth could just taking supplements make you lose weight?!

BIWI- well thanks for that, I'll definitely have to lose the fruit.
And if I'm honest I've never properly sat and thought about it, I just presumed there was something in the tablets that helped with weight loss.

Crazygreyhoundlady I completely agree with what she is saying there. Completely. I have never really paid much attention to the curing skin irritation side of the product as I have never understood how it could possibly work to do that.

There is no quick fix for losing weight. However you do it requires some effort and thought - and for you not to go straight back to old bad habits.

JP is just a way to get you to part with your money in vast quantities. If you must spend that sort of money, spend it on really good quality, nutritious food and eat sensible amounts of it.

This is the first time I have stuck too trying to lose weight. In the past I have just given up, but lately I just can't bare to look at my body so it's giving me the boost to do something about it and stick too it. And i have been doing really well, I have one cheat day where I have one snack that I miss but if I'm honest it comes to them days and I just don't fancy it, I've found since I have been eating properly I've lost my appetite a bit and no longer feel the need to eat loads, which I suppose is a good thing really.

And yes, well that's why I thought I'd ask about and see if anyone had been on JP and had anything good to say about it as I didn't want to part with so much money and then be damned when I realised it didn't work. Glad I did!!

Someone somewhere mentioned Richie howey. He's on fb. He talks a lot of sense .
I've got a Fitbit and use mfp. Basically you find out how many calories a day you burn and aim to eat less.
I thought I only burned about 1400 but was staggered to find its nearly 1800

As long as I eat less than that...I'll lose
Calories in v calories burned. It's simple physics isn't it?
I'll already eat healthily so just need to tweak it a bit to be sure I get good quality carbs...

I don't believe in drinking loads of fruit juice...too much sugar.
Not good

If you eat 3,500 cals a week less you will lose 1lb of fat. You might lose more but it will most likely be water. So whatever you burn, aim to have a deficit of 500 cals in whatever you eat.
Don't go under 1300 though
Don't be disheartened if you don't lose one day, you might have eaten something with a lot of sodium that's hanging onto the water.
Yes he advocates weighing yourself every morning.
Weighing your food and recording it on mfp every time you eat.
He has good tips. If you have over eaten one day, don't eat less the next day you'll only get hungry and then binge.
Move around more. Jog on the spot. Etc track every thing you eat and increase your burn. You might take a couple of days but you can claw it back.
It just makes sense and there's no expensive foods to buy.
