Am about to embark on Michael Mosley's 8 week blood sugar diet.
At my 'over 40 health check' I was told (not that I wasn't very aware!) that I needed to lose weight. Whilst I'm not pre-diabetic the HCA said the practice were recommending this diet.
I've made an appt with my GP surgery at the end of the month for a weigh in (they will weigh me every week) and I plan on starting 01 March.
Has anyone done this diet and how good is it? Reading the book, I can see the idea is 800 calories a day for the first part. And it sounds very daunting.
I've probably got 4 stone to loose and I definitely need to see quick results because I cave far too soon if things start tapering off.
Any thoughts or advice most welcome...
