Annoyed what am I doing wrong..!!

Been so good the last two weeks been on protein world which you subsitute two meals a day for a shake and have a healthy meal and two healthy snack during the day. Sometimes I don't even have the snacks! Been walking a lot and went gym today do need to start going at least twice a week. Anyway two weeks later of being like a saint haven't lost 1 pound..!!! Not one flippin pound Angry help

Plus can I add have done dry January so haven't touched a drop of alcohol either Sad

How many calories have you been consuming each day? Hard to give an answer without more info!

Maybe not waste your money on processed shakes and eat proper food?

I've been having one dinner which is around 600 cals. Plus the two shakes are 230 each so that's 1060. Few cups of tea with sweetener maybe an apple that's about it

That's not a lot of calories at all. The minimum I ever aim for is 1200.
Not sure if this is the reason why, but obviously those diets are not sustainable and if they really worked they'd be out of business as you'd do it once, be skinny & done with it!

What do you tend to eat for dinner? And absolutely no snacks at all other than apples? Including mouthfuls whilst cooking dinner etc?

If you've suddenly dropped from lots of calories to very low calorie then your body will think it's starving and hold onto your fat.

No sometimes I will snack on a cracker or two or maybe a Muiler light yogurt.

Miller lights are full of sweeteners which aren't great and probably won't help. Also picking whilst you're cooking could add up to more than you realise? Have a really truthful week where you write down every single thing you eat and look through it to see what might be letting you down.

It's so frustrating but it really is simple, calories in vs calories out. If you are in a calorie deficit there should be no reason why you're not losing weight. Maybe milky teas? Diet cokes? Rack your brains, it has to be something! & good luck!

mfp is great . although I wont say i don't struggle! i am 3 weeks in and have lost a stone just under.

Don't line the pockets of tge weight loss sharks. Pp upthread are right, they don't actually want you to succeed.

I am having to reassess my diet as im always hungry but i am earing 1300-1500 calories a day. I have a very active job but don't really get time to exercise.

Id say ditch the shakes for a couple of weeks abd see how you go with mfp.
