SLIM FAST buddies / success stories..

I started slim fast on Tuesday. (The 321 Plan)

Anyone else doing this?
Please no negative comments about slim fast, dieting etc.. smile

I'm interested how other people are finding this plan or what they're eatin while on it..

Have you lost weight on slim fast!?

Hey I joined this site specifically because I saw your other post (and all the negative rubbish).. I started slimfast on Monday and I have quite a bit more to lose than you. My starting weight is 13stone2 and I am the heaviest I have ever been! I was 2.5 stones lighter this time so I'm hoping to get back to that before long.. I have a holiday in June that I am focusing on to get me through!
I've been having shakes or meal bars for lunch and breakfast then a salad in the evening. I've got to be honest I'm bloody starving but it is getting easier! Mondays are going to be my weigh in mornings so I'm holding out til then to see how I've done!
How are you finding it x

Oh hey!!
I'm having a bar or shake for breakfast, my main meal for lunch and then a bar or shake for dinner.
I'm not counting calories for my main meal, I'm just making it healthy! Meat and salad or veg or I'll have a ready made meal that has 400cal or so.
I'm finding inbetween HARD!!!
I have no slim fast snacks so trying to eat something within my 100cal limit but I'm hungrier than that sometimes!! Nightmare.
I think I'm going to have a yogurt or fruit before school run, then when I come home have my bar or shake.
I then leave at 11.40am to get my son but by then I'm hungry again!!! So may just have something while walking to the school?
I normally end up having my main meal around 1pm.
I'm sure I'll get into the snacking it's hard for me to have something and feel satisfied inbetween.. I'm trying my best though!! Lol.
Next weigh in will be Saturday morning for me just to get me through the weekend!

Well I bought a 7 week starter kit from amazon for about £24 which included all ready made shakes, meal bars and snacks for a week and it's working well.. I'm trying to drink lots of water and green tea throughout the day in work and then I have a healthy meal in the evening with my husband and kids.. but the hunger pangs can be pretty bad! It must get easier!!
I'm not sure how sustainable it is but hope to keep it up for at least a month and then move to really healthy eating x

Yeah I defiantly need to get some of the snacks as that's where I'm feeling hungry!
I'm only doing it as a kick start myself- to then replace one shake/bar at a time with a really healthy meal.. just want to see some lbs come off first to give me motivation and focus! I do find myself snacking more though (on healthier things) so I need to find something I can have inbetween or buy the slim fast snacks xx

Started Tuesday at 11.10 and a half.

Today (Friday) I'm 11.7 and a half.

That's given me much more motivation for sure!! Lol ❤️

I'm starting Slimfast on Monday as I have an event on 25th and have a lovely new outfit that I want to look my best in!

I've been doing Insanity during January and have toned up a bit but I semiconsciously feel that I deserve more treats (i.e. Chocolate!) because I've done some exersize. So I'm going to try and cut all that out for 3 weeks, wish me luck!

How is everyone getting on so far?

I started on Tuesday and by today I had lost three lbs!! grin
I decided my treat day would be a Friday evening- so I've just had cake and pizza... was amazing lol.
I'm finding it quite easy! As I make sure I'm not hungry.
Bar before school run. Home and have a cuppa soup or crackers and dairylea.. (light)
Around 1pm have a healthy large meal (I don't count the 600 cal at all!! I eat what I want and how much I want as long as it's healthy- normally chicken and salad/veg and brown pitta)
Then a bar or shake for breakfast, then if I'm hungry come night time i have a cuppa soup or fruit.
So far, so good.
I walk about an hour a day every day for school run there and back twice. Also do crunches and squats daily.
Will weigh myself Monday morning to know my start weight for the week!

I weighed myself this morning and was so thrilled I've lost 5lb already since Monday!! Been celebrating by spending my normal takeaway money on some lovely new clothes for my holiday (in an optimistically smaller size!!) xx

Yeah I'm surprisingly really enjoying it!!!
I'm not eating fruit as a snack- or anything slim fast! I've found cuppa soups for 89 cal! And also my sons organic carrot stick puffs (crisp stick things) are 43 cal, so I have them instead...
also, I have my main meal at 1pm and I do not count calories!!! I have what I want as long as it's healthy!!! Normally fish and veg or chicken and salad. Brown pitta sometimes.

Started Tuesday at 11.10 and 3/4lbs

Friday; 11.7 &a half.

Saturday; 11.8 &a half

(I ate a lot Friday night as my "treat evening")

Stuck with it and still going!! Will weigh myself next on Tuesday/Wednesday .. I like to do it every 2/3 days just to keep me motivated and going!!!

Pizza Hut is being ordered!!!
Bought my Slim Fast 7 days challenge pack - will weigh myself in the morning and be VERY strict!!!
I'm taking the last couple days as a trial run... I'm now into how and when to eat and what to eat etc. smile

You're doing really well!! And I would definitely recommend the challenge starter pack!
I'm a bit disappointed today as I had a weigh in and I haven't lost anymore since Friday even though I stuck to plan alll weekend!! Although I have woken to my TOTM which I think may be to blame for some extra retention.. oh well will stick to it again for the week and weigh in again next monday!! Xx

It's coming today at 4/5pm yey!
I've done well so far today.
7am-Shake for breakfast-
About 10am I had some "sunbites" (about 90cal)
Just had my main meal which was a low cal ready meal- chilli and sweetcorn at 332 then some special k and skimmed milk after.
Later I'll have a healthy snack IF I'm hungry.
Bar for dinner. smile
Yeah defo stick with it!!!! Stay positive and just imagine what you'll be by next Monday!!! Xxx

Food intake today; (roughly)
Bar- 200

Sun bites -90

Sweet corn-80
Special k- 240

Small bar-90


This afternoon I received my 7day challenge box and omg SOO worth it!!!
Also, I bought myself a "snack" of slim fast bolagnase ... I cooked it and how it looked and smelt I would have rather a bar!!! So it went straight in the bin! Lol. I didn't want to waste eating something I will not enjoy and not be able to have anything else!

You're still going strong!!

Today I had a shake and slimfast snack bar at about 10.30am, then a meal bar and slimfast snack bar at 1pm, slimfast pretzels at 4pm and a large chicken and ham salad with cottage cheese for tea!!

Not feeling anywhere near as hungry as last week :-) xx

Yey!!! You're doing soo well!!!
Do you count your calories at your main meal??? As I only roughly do because my thinking is, as long as it's healthy does it REALLY matter??? Surely fish and chicken and salad , veg etc is all good calories any way? If that makes sense?
Or do you count it to the T?
(I only know the calories in my main meal today because it wa as ready meal)

I feel really disheartened today... I weighed myself and am still 12stone11 so haven't lost anything else since the initial 5lbs despite sticking to plan religiously! I'm annoyed with myself for not waiting til Monday to weigh in like I told myself I would!! But I can't see how I'm not losing weight on 1200 calories, it must just take a bit of time to show up on the scales!

In the evenings I don't tend to count calories as I tend to just have some meat or fish with lots and lots of veg or salad... my absolute favourite at the moment is either chicken or prawns stir fried with garlic, chilli and salt xx

Oh yum that sounds so good!!!
I've added more calories as I'm soooo hungry in the morning - so I've added 150 cal (two weetabix and skimmed milk) then when I get back from school run I have my shake and snack. Main meal at 1pm (around 600-700max cal) all healthy stuff.
Oh yeah by Monday I bet you're down another 1/2lbs for sure!!!! I'm like that with weighing myself lol.
You're doing amazing so keep it up and you'll see the weight coming off for sure!!! Just make sure you're not leaving yourself hungry- adding healthy calories won't hurt xx

I've added cereal in the morning to get me through!! Lol.

Weetabix 140

Bar 200
Snack 100

Steak 400
Brown Rice 100
Sweetcorn 50
Mushrooms- 50

Snack 100



Each day I'm trying to stay between 1.400-1,500 cal 😎 Maximum.

And keeping to my main meal being at 1pm - not every day, but most days.
Will weigh myself in the morning or Saturday morning.

Morning. I started slim fast on tuesday after having a horrible weigh in at my work medical. 11.7 stones when I have always been 10.5. I had a 3rd baby last year and knew the weight was slower to shift - I just didn't notice it hadn't shifted at all!

I came on hear to see if anyone is doing slim fast and I'm so happy to see there are others. Im only staring day 4 and I'm certainly hungrier. How are you all doing?
