Who's in then?

Don't know if I'd caught a bug yesterday but felt very unwell today so consequently my diet has been excellent through default.

Piece of salmon and few chips in ikea

Omelette this evening

2 pieces of dark chocolate salted caramel.
That's it!

I've kick started it through default!
How's everyone else?

I'm in. But starting on Tuesday when I get back to work.

I want this to be the year I finally crack keeping on top of my weight.

I have a stone to lose well really 1.5 stone but I'm starting with a realistic goal.

Today has been a recovery and leftovers day.

Happy to have you aboard busyboysmum. I'm sure the others will be along later.

Good luck with today.
Have you a plan?

Yes I did it before Christmas with good results.

Porridge with banana for breakfast, a celebrity slim shake for lunch. Snack on fruit, lots of herbal tea and a normal tea. No snacking in the evening. Two or three body balance classes a week.

That's in the week when I'm at work. Weekends are a bit more free. It was really manageable before Christmas so I'm hoping it will work again.

Gosh, you sound you like you have your head sorted.
Wish I could get into that frame of mind.
I'm not quite there yet.

Will have to think what's holding me back.

Well done.

All my friends look better than I do 😆 it's a great motivator. I'm heading for 50 fast so need to get on top of something.

I'm in - a few years ago I lost weight and felt so much better.

Slowly but surely I've started to pile it back on due to inactivity (health related) and overeating.
Luckily my health issues are resolved so there is no reason for me to sit around piling on the pounds.
Looking at my BMI/ideal weight I need to lose 4 stone to be in the middle of the healthy range - initially I'd be delighted to lose 2.

Writing that down (the 4 stone part) has actually shocked me.

I'm aiming to not eat between meals, use better portion control (calorie count on MFP) and walk more.

I started well today - porridge and fruit for breakfast, ham salad for lunch, fish with butterbean mash and veg tonight.

I've planned my meals up until Friday so there isn't any reason for me to fall off the wagon.
