Taking small steps to a smaller me... Weight Loss 2017!

I have regained the stone I lost in 2015 over the course of 2016 Blush and have 3 more than that to lose as well...

I had a course of counselling late last year that means I'm valuing myself more and I'm hoping this will be the key to getting it off for good this time! I'm going to take it slowly, one day at a time... anyone care to join me? I'm using MyFitnessPal and hoping to do Yoga With Adrienne as I'm woefully unfit. All part of actually taking care of myself and practicing a little self love for once!

I'm aiming for 41lbs off over the course of the year, hopefully well doable!

So here I am, anonymously publicly checking in...

MrsJohanHegg
Staring Weight: 14st 5lbs / 201lbs
Goal Weight: 11st 6lbs / 160lbs

I've got more to lose than that and I'm only a shortarse but this is my starting plan!

Even if no one joins me I think I'll still check in here!

Today:

I have a splitting headache and possible sinus infection so could have done better but I'm not going to beat myself up about it...

B - 2 slices 50/50 toast with Biscoff spread Blush
L - plain bread roll with butter (couldn't stomach anything else!)
D - homemade Quorn spag bol

1409 cals, think I'll have an Options hot chic this evening...

good luck to you, but looks like there is a bit of a sweet tooth issue...

that chocolate spread wants binning as you probably realise. Egg on toast? Muesli? Porridge?

instead of nasty fake hot choc, how about 2 squares of plain supermarket chocolate with a cup of black tea or mint tea? Same calories and far nicer!

hope you feel better soon.

Not looking for dietary input at this point as I know it all backwards - it's motivation that's my issue, not knowledge! I'm making small changes, as I say, and managing not to stuff my face and/or order takeaway when I feel this awful is a huge achievement for me Smile

Done some yoga today and the headache has abated! So far - porridge with strawberries, scrambled eggs on toast, a slice of malt loaf. Chicken curry planned for dinner Smile

Good luck Smile do what's right for you. I started a thread on here last year (52lbs in 52wks) I've lost almost 5st since then and maintained since June. How I did it wasn't very conventional etc but I had to do what I could in my own way. After all I had been trying for years to loose weight and nothing worked. Sometimes my meal consisted of a Horlicks milkshake Blush haha. I'm glad to say I'm healthier now and a vegan. I'm looking to loose a stone so if it's ok with you we can share our days with each other Smile
