Need a buddy down the road to *looking* *good*

I'm 35 and really need to look good to feel good. I have gained so much weight over the last 2years , I barely have anything to wear except a few stretchy dresses. I can't afford a new wardrobe and I really need to look good again.

Have spent the last year and a half ttc with no avail and have indulged myself with treats each month l got disappointed. No more bad eating habits and no more sitting on the couch all day watching TV.

Anyone fancy joining hands and moaning along while embarking on this new, scary and exciting journey?

I know what you mean, i gained so much weight when i was pregnant and then just lacked motivation to lose it. But now i want my figure back

Do you have any plans yet on what you will do. Weighed myself on Monday, 224.8 lbs shock.

I'm trying not to eat anything in the morning .just black coffee with no sugar (not pleasant )had boiled eggs for lunch and a steak and salad for dinner. Trying to cut out carbs and sugar but it ain't easy. I love food lol,good food.

Haha i love food too. I got weighed yesterday and was 78.7kg. Ive decided to cut out fizzy drinks and sweets. I got told not to avoid breakfast as it makes you more hungry. I have a breakfast biscuit and squash. For lunch i had a sandwhich

Hi Pixie and Mimilicious,
I was where you are until I met a lady who helped me shift my weight. It was quick but i'd already done cabbage soup and all sorts so yo-yo diets are not worth the effort. The coup for me it was about keeping it off. Anyway I did - i'd put on 2 stones but within 9 weeks i was back to myself and happy 9 stone self grin
Without a doubt it was restrictive but i didn't have think about what to do, she told me what i needed to do in advance and i got on with it. i was desperate.

Arbed please let me in on your secret diet. I once tried the max plank diet. Works wonders but it really needs a lot of willpower.
I like your approach pixie and your weight is still ok hun. Guess you can do well cutting on sugar and fizzy drinks to maintain it.
Feel like I am coming down with the flu. Argh

I had a cheat day today because my son over slept and was in a rush so had mcdonalds. I feel guilty haha. But shall have to do more exercise this week to compensate

Have you noticed that when you are trying to watch what you are eating, you are more tempted to eat and are hungrier than usual. How often do you exercise by the way?

Hi Mimilicious, it's not a secret, it's just understanding that everyone is different and what works for you might be different to what works for someone else. I met her and she asked lots of questions about me and my health and lifestyle and then designed a food plan for me. I lost a stone in the first month and then roughly half a stone each month until I reached a point of happiness. I still follow her guidance and I keep the weight off - no counting calories or weighing myself every minute. im at my natural weight.

Hi arbed how do you get in touch with this woman? I exercise at the gym on a monday and tuesday for 1-2 hours at a time. I also do alot of heavy lifting and running up and down stairs in work (i think that counts haha)

Hope you are doing well. pixie ,the weekends are always hard on me. The kids are home and munching on all this delicious food hmm.

Really craving for something sweet but I really need to have at least lost a couple of kilos . have a function on Dec 3 and I can barely fit in any of my evening gowns . how are you doing ?

Hi arbed yes please, i dont know how to pm though. Aww mimi i know what you mean, my son is having a few biscuits and im slathering haha, trying so hard to get motivated lately as its too cold to go out on a walk
