Losing weight at home on a ab workout machine thing? Will it help or no?

I've been flicking through a catalogue that I usually order from during Christmas time. And I've come across an AB 5 body shaped that's on sale from £80 to £40.

I'm 25 years of age. Have always been a size 8 UK and gave birth September 2014. People say it's because I've had a baby (excuses) because after birthday for a month or so I was straight back into my normal clothes.
I've just become lazy. Don't walk much drive everywhere since I got a car. And eat junk all the time. Chocolate and unhealthy foods. Take always etc...to look at me I still look thin, but underneath I'm a beast.
It's my stomach that's depressing me. It use to be flat and I had a shape but now my stomach is big sticks out and hangs there.
I'll attach a pic...
Also my thighs and legs have become chunkier, the fat on my hips is too much I use to be able to feel my hip bones now I have to press on my fat to feel it.

Anyway, I want to lose weight but I'm too lazy to get out and move and not confident enough to join a gym.

So this AB 5 body shaper you lean on it with your knees and pull yourself up and down really and it works your abs. All reviews said it's good and they feel it in their stomach the next day.

Will this help me lose weight? I know it's down to diet too I will try my best but just doing this for like an hour each day will it burn my fat and help me lose it all? I know you can't pin point where you want to lose it but my stomach is my main area I'm trying to get rid of at the moment.

Thank you!

Weight loss comes about from the food you eat and only a 5th from exercise. You cant out exercise a bad diet, so sort your food out and you could see results and possibly slightly quicker with the ab trainer. I swear by the Davina 7 and Davina 5 exercise dvds. You only need about 30-35 mins max for a full body session, or it can be as little as 15 mins for a warmup, exercise bit and stretch.

Agree with Velma. I would cut out gluten and sugar for a week and see how that goes.
