Hi, my baby is nearly 6 months and I seem to be putting on weight! I am planning on starting slimming world. I have done it many year ago but I am guessing it is a bit different now. Does anybody have any advice?

No advice but I'm re starting after doing I years ago ( using old books) . I need to lose 4 stone ish to be back in healthy bmi. I found it difficult to get my head around for the first few weeks last time, but after that it clicked . Are you doing it online or going to meetings, op ?

I am going to go to the meetings as I need help to stay motivated. I am also looking to lose about 4 stone, or a bit more.

I've been doing SW for 6 months and have lost just over 5 stone so far.

It's definitely the easiest diet I've done.

They don't do red and green days, but extra easy where the focus is on replacing a third of your plate with speedy foods, which are a list of fruit and veg (but now all fruits and veg are on it).

Thanks. I am apprehensive about extra easy as I have tried it before and I did not lose on it. I mostly have a veggie diet so green was perfect for me.

Hi heir! My baby is 7 months and I started last week. Weigh in tomorrow! Am cautiously optimistic. I'm doing it online at the moment as the meetings close by are right when my son goes to bed but I'm hopeful I can move to meetings in the future when he's a little older and off the boob completely.
I enjoy cooking so I've looked for lots of blogs and recipes to make things interesting. Twochubbycubs is my favourite and lots of the things I've made this week have been delicious. Good luck!

I tried slimming world and it didn't work for me. I have four stone to lose and it was too slow. I have now just made up my own diet which is working and I've lost 7lb in a couple of weeks.

I don't drink any fizzy juice. I've cut out drinks with sweeteners in it.
I use full fat Greek yogurt instead of low fat and just have a bit less.
I don't eat crisps or order takeaways.
I don't eat chocolate or biscuits but if I fancy a sweet, I will have a small packet instead of a family sized one!
I have a small lunch and snack on fruit if I am genuinely hungry.
I make homemade dinners every night and they aren't restricted to diet food, just better choices and I make 'fakeaways' if I fancy a good curry or Chinese.
However I know a few people that lost on slimming world and swear by it but its not for everyone.
