I have always been overweight. I can usually diet and lose s stone or 2 but put it back on again. I've been trying to lose weight since the beginning of the year and I've actually put on 2 stone. My BMI is in the 40's, none of my clothes fit and I feel very, very fat!

I'm feeling pretty desperate, not depressed or anything, I just can't seem to get in that weight loss zone again. I've been considering going to the GP. Has anyone else done so, was it worthwhile? I'm just worried it'll be embarrassing and he won't tell me anything I don't already know and then whenever I go for a sore arm or whatever he will discuss my weight.

In not sure what's for the best but I can't afford to get any fatter :-(

Hey, sorry it's a bit late but a GP visit might help & a lot of GP surgeries offer weight loss advice whether it be referral to dietitian, BMI etc smile xx
