The last thread inspired us to shift the pounds so let's kick October's butt too!

Loving the new title! Thanks for starting the new thread BOOP and glad your husband got back alright. Well done on your loss for September and to everyone too! Liking how you "kink" the last thread to this one too Wink

Quim I say lunch out but it's a more long drawn affair which starts at 11 am and finishes about 10pm! About 5 he decided to get some cigs but halfway decided that he was too drunk to come back and wanted to go home ( Crystal Palace ). He got into the wrong train, fell asleep and ended up in Southampton!

Will catch up on the latest post in September shortly, trying to get my little one to nap which is a workout in itself Grin

Ending weight for Sept- 61.5kg which took me to a loss of 3kg. Could have done better but as the French say je ne regret rien Grin which basically means sod it Grin

What a shiny new thread huh!

I'd like to join! About 11.7 now (I'm only 5ft1), want to lose a couple of stone. Don't know how, just trying healthy eating I guess...have tried mfp and use it sometimes, but find it such a faff putting everything in.

I try to do exercise but it is hard for me, I have ms and can't walk far, I use a stick. I do try to do 10,000 steps a day though.

Hello new thread! I giggled at the kink-link too. Grin Fab losses everyone! You have done brilliantly.

No sodding it needed, Hello, you've lost nearly 7lb! Star

This time 2 years ago I was around 13st 8lb. As of today I am 11st 4.25lbs. I haven't 'dieted' particularly, just changed what I was eating (to low carb) and it's steadily come off. My lowest before kids was 10st 7lb and that was comfortable so my long-term aim is 10st 10lb - only 8lbs away! It may take a few more months but it feels achievable.

Here's to an Offtober full of putting an effort into reaching our goals, and being kind to ourselves (but keeping trying) if we slip up now and then, we are only human.

Please can I join? I am 11 stone 2 and I'm 5 foot 4. I need to lose a stone. I have lots of clothes I used to wear when I was lighter and fitter.
I plan to eat low carb and exercise a lot. I had an injury a few weeks ago and I had to stop my C25K after 3 weeks. I've joined a gym but I desperately need motivation and encouragement.
I do well for a while then I just binge eat for some reason. Self sabotage is my enemy and I don't know why.
But I'm fed up of being like this

I'm in. Haven't posted before but have been reading the previous thread. I started in June and have lost almost 2.5 stone with the help of MFP and a personal trainer. I'd like to lose at least another stone before Christmas, and after a disastrous week last week involving too much bread and wine I definitely need something to aim for. Current weight is 12 stone 2 lb, so aim is 11 stone 9 lb by the end of October!

I see your calorie free cake and raise you a sugar free Brew!

Thanks Pony for the encouragement. To be honest you have done really well, seems like you have truly embraced a healthier way of eating over the past two years.

Welcome all & good luck to us all!

Hi all please may I join? Over the past couple of years I have lost 70lbs and have just reached BMI of 25 - I really want to lose 20lb over the next three months so this thread would be perfect as I have hit a plateau! Today weight 151.8lb. Aiming for 145 by the end of October!

Hello new people waves

Making no apology for burying my head in a bucket of ice cream tonight after a horrible week. Will weigh in tomorrow. Will be interesting to see how a Saturday weigh in day alters my eating habits Grin

Thank you everyone! Not sure if this week will go according to plan as my appetite seems to have increased - hopefully TOTM type appetite rather than anything else (like a pregnancy which would be somewhat badly timed!) have a 10k this weekend but toying with the idea of Parkrun too. Anyone else run? And by 'run' I mean plod along slowly with red face!

Evening all!

I seem to be at the exact same weight at several of you! 12st 12.5lbs
I'm only 5'1.

My peak weight though was 14st 5 this time last year so at least it's going in the right direction.

I'm low-carbing and getting ever closer to using my stepping machine!

I will try and log I really will...it's just if I have a coffee, half a sugar, ss milk then already that's 3 logs for a drink, & I haven't put any meals in yet!

Dizzy, you can save that as a "meal", then you only have to log one thing
