I've been calorie counting for a year, and have lost 57 lbs. Unfortunately my weight loss has plateaued for 2 weeks, how can I get it going down again?

5:2 helped me when everything else stopped working

I re-fresh my foods, change breakfast, buy new cook books and re-weigh some of the foods as I get slack and start guessing portion sizes. Changing exercises class also helps as does (for me anyway) having a couple of clothing bits to slim into, doing a wardrobe re-fresh and getting rid of some of the clothes that are just too big and make me feel a bit complacent when wearing them.

Thanks both! It seems to have restarted again thankfully! I'll keep your tips in mind for next time.

Glad it's working again. If you get stuck again you can also try this method:

Perhaps counter-intuitively, you might try increasing calories for a couple of weeks before going back on the diet. My DH has terrible trouble with plateaus and finds this can help.
