Help I need a diet to follow and some motivation.

I've got two months (ish) until my 40th and want to lose a stone. Not too hard to do if I am focused but I can't seem to pick a duet to follow.

Essentially I want to not have to think about it much, have things that are easy to grab and go with for breakfast or lunch on the run and then be able to cook dinner in the evening and relax.

I've done weight watchers etc previously but don't have time to go to a group. Wondering if I should try a juice plus / vie / slim fast type thing for ease but worry about how healthy they are.

Any great ideas much appreciated Smile

Ok! Some things that have helped me so far with losing weight:

  1. Don't weigh yourself - idk about you, but I find that I get very caught up on the numbers if I weigh myself. This can lead to me feeling demotivated and miserable because I feel as though I've not done well enough!
  2. Focus on being healthy - Make healthier choices once you have your goal amount of calories. Cut out cake, crisps and chocolate incrementally as this helps me
  3. Occupy yourself! - If I'm sat around or not occupied physically i want to graze out of boredom! If you're the same, try and keep yourself busy and get your SO/friends/children etc to nag at you to get busy if you start eating lol
  4. Kettle bell - i've just started kettle bell workouts - if you get a 4 - 6kg (I'd recommend 4kg if you are new to weight training) kettlebell and look up beginners workouts on youtube, working out for 10 mins 6/7 days a week will begin to improve your metabolism and help you lose more weight
  5. USN Diet Fuel - Dolphin fitness have been selling these shakes 2kg for around 30 quid. I have this to substitute breakfast and lunch. it has kacine protein in which helps make you feel fuller. These have 200 calories in per shake - more if you have with milk. They also contain lots of vitamins n minerals. These have helped me drop around 1 inch round my waist and I've only been using it for about 3 weeks or less?

Anyways, good luck!! Failing that, a more pricy option is the forever living aloe diet plan which my friend did and lost lots of weight.

The easiest thing for me is to have the same things so pick 2 or 3 healthy breakfasts and rotate them. I have a tin of soup for lunch in the week and then just cut down on portion sizes/amount of carbs for tea. Have also cut out all snacks and started doing some sort of exercise every day

Thank you. I've tried calorie counting / being good but down how without a plan I don't seem to stick to it. I will look into the diet fuel and see if that might work.

I have a kettle bell left by my sister in law when she went to Australia so that's a great idea to start toning my tum/ getting things moving.

I'm not much for gadgets but my fitbit has helped me enormously.
