Really struggling- HELP!!!!!!

I need to loose about 4 stones, but 1 1/2 would be a great start. Have lost weight in the past with sw but reluctant to go to a group again - although considering it.
Recently did 8 week blood sugar diet in a loose form - very low carbs, low cal. Enjoyed the way of eating but unable to sustain it. I like to eat a lot - always choose what I can eat a lot of for least damage - well not always - but I like a full plate!
I also like to eat fairly clean - I
Cook from scratch most of the time and resist diet food.
I have a current leaning towards something like Cambridge as it seems so easy but won't help me with needing my plate full?

I struggle with connecting in my head my goal, with actually choosing not to eat the extra portion, or the wrong choice of food. I can't work out why? Am hoping there is a way to increase my motivation and focus.
Armchair psychoanalyse away!!!!!

I think something like the Body coach would be good for you..He is into eating a lot of food and some people seem to struggle with this but sounds like it may suit you well. You have to pay for the plan though which is the only draw back..It has 3 cycles and as far as I am aware, you can pay per cycle.. He does have a couple of cook books out that loosely cover his plan and have some exercises in but obviously the one you pay for is taylored to you... There is a thread here if you want to find out more:

I'd look in to the Whole 30 if I was you and combine with exercise

Why are you reluctant to go back to SW? Cost? Can you join the SW board on here instead?

I've not long started SW, after doing LCHF for four months (and losing well), and I have found it easy. The reason I'm asking is because you can have your full plate, which seems to be your biggest motivation factor. I also have a fairly large appetite.

Low carb/low cal is definitely not sustainable. Where does your energy come from?

Shake/meal replacement diets are, IME, horrible. Expensive and I can never stick to them because they taste awful and leave me feeling hungry.

Thank you all
I follow body coach on fb and actually have 1 of his books - but I think I need to commit to the actual programme so I will have a look into that. Will also look at whole 30.
I don't mind the cost of sw - in a way that's a motivator in itself! I got jaded last time I went and saw a lot of the same faces from a few years back - all the same size and making the same excuses. I hate it when in group people used to say ' I was naughty' when they'd had a treat.
I also hate the constant pushing of shit food - muller lights, hifi bars etc etc
Any thoughts on hypnosis?

I do roll my eyes (to myself!) for a fair amount of the SW meetings, they are a bit ridiculous at times. It can be rather evangelical!

But the principles of the program are easy to follow. Maybe try and do it online instead?
