I'm starting out again on Friday. A bit to lose, my aim is to be where I was 2 years ago. Will be low carbing as I find it works best for me

Anyone else joining?

I will weigh/measure on the first morning

Oh good!

Today I'm off work, luckily. So I'm clearing our fridge and cupboards and doing an online shop

Not looking forward to tomorrow's weigh in!

I started yesterday as the hospital have given me 18 weeks to get my BMI lower. Day one went fine. Doing my fitness pal and if it doesn't work, I'll go back to slimming world.

Myfitnesspal is a good call! I've done it alongside low carbing before.... Just to check on the macros.

I can also sync other apps to it ( iPhone health app works with it so I can track my steps)
This time I'm going to try to not eat my exercise calories

Hello, I will join you :)

Lost half a stone on the June thread which has taken me to 9st 4lb (I'm only short so every lb shows!)

I would like to see if I can shave a few more pounds off and get down to 9st. That would be my ideal weight and the lightest I've been in three years - since I went back to work after being a SAHM and running round after toddlers all day.

I am using MFP as a guide. Same breakfast (porridge) and lunch (salad) most days. Dinner under 600 cals and going easy on the carbs. I'm not giving up wine though!

I'm in. Though I have already messed up today by having a pizza.

I have been MPF-ing and I have been exercising lots lately but my diet has been terrible the past few weeks so I'm thinking of going along to my local SW group tonight and joining up, if only for the weekly weigh in!

Meg I am also trying to get to 9 stone but I am a long way yet!

At 6 feet tall I'd not look good at 9 stone!! At my lowest weight of 12 stone 10 I looked too thin I think

I am 5'4 and was 9 stone at my 12 weeks booking appointment, so aiming for that. My son is 20 weeks today.

I will also do the official weigh in tomorrow with you. Although I do weigh in everyday and log it on the happy scale app so I get a true picture if I am losing or now. As long as it's a downward trend it's fine with me. I started at 85kg at beginning of April.

Helloheyhi · 30/06/2016 16:39

Ooooh white I am the same weight as you I think.
Are you following any specific plan?

How's everyone getting on today?

MumOnTheRunCatchingUp · 30/06/2016 16:53

I've just been to lidl and stocked up on greens/cheese/meat/eggs

That's pretty much what I'll be eating. I'll get bored but once the weight starts to shift I'll switch plan a bit

And water. I really really need to drink more. Is it just me that struggles with this ? I'm ok at home, but my job isn't the kind where I can nip off to the loo every ten mins!

Yes I struggle with water. I don't think I've ever drunk a litre in one day, let alone two litres! Sometimes I have weak sugar free squash, yes I know artificial sweeteners are the devil.

I'm in.....since Christmas I've put in a stone and my weight is still on the up. Think my daytime eating is ok. It's just between teatime and bedtime I go crazy and eat non stop. So going to start with just focussing on cutting out the evening snacking.

I'm in - I've lost a stone and a half on Slimming World this year but have a stone to go. I think I've got a bit lazy as I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight, but am still at the top end of the scale for my height. Oh and I definitely have a 'mummy tummy' Hmm

Oooh I like the idea of the photos!
I was doing so well yesterday but ended up eating half the egg fried rice ( yum yum ) which I cooked for my husband Sad

I am dreading to check my start weight this morning but will do shortly to keep me motivated!

I've stated the day with a weigh in Shock

Ok, first goal is 3 pounds to bring me down to next 'number'. I'm working in pounds/stones

This will be gone by Monday!

Next goal after that will be another stone...... Then I will resume running

So far this morning I've had water, coffee (with semi skimmed milk, cream is better for this WOE) and 3 poached eggs with butter

Tricky weekend for me in terms of calorie counting - I'm out for dinner tonight, eating at a festival tomorrow night (so the healthiest option I can find from the takeaway vans!) and having Sunday lunch at my dad's. Will try to make healthy choices and weigh in and start counting properly from Monday.
