Just that really!

What do you have for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks on a typical day?

Partly because I need inspiration, partly because I'm noseyGrin

Ive lost 2.5 stone since January but have been pregnant (and sadly miscarried at 10wks) within this time aswell. Lots of meals can be adapted to suit slimming world to make them "syn free or low syns".

Breakfast weetabix with semi skimmed milk and a glass of Orange juice.

Lunch sainsburys be good to yourself Korma 340cal and a bowl of Greek yog with honey

Dinner BBC crispy stir fry chicken with whole grain rice

Snacks mango, peach and some grapes.

I'm basically trying to cut out the crap. Got about three stone to lose. Went an hours walk today too to help it along.
Probably eating too many carbs but it helps me stay full so I don't snack.

My normal diet would consist as snacks for a lunch and I would normally have a takeaway or eat out twice a week so I'm stopping that.

Im loving slimming world its been really easy, i probably should have lost more weight by now but i keep rewarding myself for weight loss with a massive takeaway Blush slimming world is really easy though u get to eat loads, dont have to count calories etc and still can have a treat everyday so you arent deprived of anything. As i said previously most meals can be adapted to suit slimming world so its easier to make meals suitable for the whole family.

Good luck with your weight loss however u choose to do it

My SIL does it online due to crazy working hours, i think she finds it really useful, also with sw u get membership to lifeline online which has 1000s of recipes and features that are really useful, meal plans to suit diff budgets/vegetarians/special occasions etc... Its really good! But u can easily google sw recipies for things

I've lost over 2.5 stone since christmas. Done it the my fitness pal. I pay for the premium because I like no adds, but you don't have to pay a penny

I'm another SW fan. Typical day:
Porridge pancakes made with 35g porridge oats, fat free yoghurt, stevia, vanilla essence, cinnamon, grated carrot or courgette and 2 eggs. Served with melon and strawberries and 1 tbsp of salted caramel sauce.
Lunch would be a big salad with smoked salmon trimmings and egg or ham or whatever I've got in the fridge.
Dinner would be stir fry and slow cooked pork or chicken with noodles or cottage pie or homemade chips with chicken breasts.

I should eat much better than I do, but hey ho, I like junk:

Toast with some sort of spread and a banana (marmite/peanut butter/butter etc)
Trough of tea (giant mug) - breakfast

Mid morning -tea

Sandwich, crisps of any kind, biscuit or cereal bar, sometimes fruit - lunch
Tea, again

Mid afternoon -tea

Chicken/salmon/meatballs with either sweet potato wedges/homemade wedges/rice/pasta with a type of veg on the side, or sometimes spag bol or lasagne. Yoghurt for pudding. Maybe a desserty type thing like cheesecake. -tea

We do also eat out a few times a week...hmmm, now I can see why I am chunky!

I have started to have salmon with light mayo and ketchup on crisp breads, sounds vile but is really nice for lunch.

Breakfast: 2 or 3 rough milled oatcakes with half an avocado (seasoned with salt and black pepper) and a skimmed milk latte

Lunch: Dhal and rice, or a large mixed salad with hard boiled egg and feta, or crispy chicken tacos or sashimi and minestrone soup. Usually have a punnet of raspberries or blackberries too.

Afternoon snack: 0% Greek yoghurt with drizzle of honey. 2 pieces of fruit or some baby carrots/ cucumber etc.

Dinner: Chili and rice, salmon or roast chicken with salad, Greek salad with wholemeal pitta., thai green chicken curry with lots of veg. etc

I count protein (target 1.5g/kg body weight and 7 portions of fruit and veg). Don't count anything else.

I do go off the rails quite a lot (love sweets, not that bothered about chocolate) and drink the equivalent of 2 bottles of wine per week (not all in one go obviously!!). But, end of the day, I want a fun life more than I want to look like a fitspiration advert.

This approach lets me maintain at BMI 22, but I'm working on body composition.
