Not a diet but damage control whilst pregnant!

I'm almost 23 weeks and from tomorrow I shall be eating my meals as usual but avoiding cake and choc and wine gums!

I put on 4.5 stone last time as I basically ate like a pig and had no self control, now I dont want to loose any weight but I do want to try and limit the damage!

Posting here so I can jibber away and keep on track I guess. Smile

So I'm already pleased with myself, took ds to swimming lessons and walked the 10 mins rather than drive. On the way I walked past greggs and didn't buy a donut! 2 points to me!

Here for support! I'm 26 weeks pregnant (today!) and I was already overweight, now I'm huge! Sad I lost weight the first 16 weeks, due to healthy eating and lots of activity, but now I'm crippled with PGP and I'm on bed rest!
I've been warned that too much walking will literally break my pelvis, so I have to take it easy (which isn't very easy when I have a 2 year old!)
So good luck to you! I'm extremely jealous of how active you can be! FlowersStar

I'm not going to lie I'm now back in my pj's on the sofa watching bgt! Grin

That must be really difficult, bless you, the things we have to go through ey! are you allowed out the house? It must be so hard!!

I had a high bmi at the start of this pregnancy and both my mum and sister are diabetic so hoping to avoid getting GD. Although it wasn't mentioned at all for my first pregnancy so think it's coz I'm much bigger than before.

Feeling really pleased with myself as I'd normally have crisps and a wagon wheel with my lunch and cake after dinner but I've avoided both! Just about to have some strawberries and Grapes as an evening snack.

I don't know where the line is though with not eating junk and being on a diet... Can see me spending the evening on Google!
