Ok, so I started at 16 st and now I'm down to 12 st 7.8 but I seem to have plateaued.
I really want to reach 10 st. ideally before a wedding in August.
I hope keeping this public diary will help me keep losing - public shame - Woo!
If anyone has advice, wants to chat or have stories they want to share. Please do
Well done for this brave move, and for a fabulous weight loss so far! How are you going about it? I've lost A LOT of weight over the past year, by consistent but moderate calorie-counting. I barely recognise myself these days. Like, literally... I caught sight of myself in a shop mirror yesterday, and stood there for about a minute, doing a big old WTF?!
Now finally a healthy weight, and not totally sure how much more I want to lose, if any at all. I'd like my current clothes to be a little looser, but I've just stepped up my exercise routine, and I'll see whether I can shrink without losing more weight, if you see what I mean.
Well done. I lost two stone last year by eating more natural foods and eating less. Yesterday I got rid of a load of clothes because I know I will never wear them again. Getting rid of jeans that are too big was a great feeling
Ahh, so after my decision to keep this diary. Aunt flow hit on Friday so I've spent the last week in bed. Weighed myself this morning and I'm down to 12 st. 3.2.
4 more lbs and I'll be into the next stone bracket. 10 stone will look sooo close.

I've done various diets before and outright starved myself but the weight always came back. I'm doing low carb now and I hope this will stick. I'm definitely more dedicated now than ever because I have health issues because of my weight. I hope losing the weight will resolve this for me. Fingers crossed.
Well done Tillii. That's really motivating, thanks. I saved some of my clothes from when I was 10 st. the last time round. It bums me out they still don't fit. But one day, I'll get there.
Soo. Last week was a bad week. I was too tired to cook so I got a pizza and had some chocolate bars and gained a lb
Got right back on track and I'm now down 12st 1.4.
Soo close to the 11st bracket. I'm not sure I'll lose 2 st. in time for August though.
I'm going to have to introduce exercise again to nudge things along.
note to self : have an emergency meal for just this event. Also, this is reason the advice is to plan in advance. That could like now, not ready yet for dinner but at 6pm will be hungry and then is not the time to be thinking about a meal, it's too tempting to reach for the pasta or pizza.
Off to prep evening meal .
