Losing a stone with Slimming World. Good plan?

Hi,

I've done Weightwatchers a few times but fancy a change... I need to lose a stone and can't exercise much at the moment because I have a foot injury. So I thought I'd try Slimming World. Would you recommend it? I just don't seem to have the motivation to do it myself, much as I don't want to spend the money every week... (on a tight budget at the moment!)

Hello, a quick way (and cheap Grin )

  1. Cut out all caffeinated drinks (do this when you have quiet few days it can leave you with a headache ).

  1. eat fruit on an empty stomach (for breakfast etc.).

3.Look at the Paul Mackenna Way of Eating.

  1. Don't mix carbs and heavy protein at the same meal.

The above works well (I lost the nearly 3 stone I needed to doing it) .

I've always been very anti slimming clubs/groups, but reluctantly joined Slimming World with a friend at the beginning of Jan ..... and I've lost almost a stone! It's a very easy plan, and I haven't felt deprived. Still had little blow outs at weekends with takeaways/wine, but still lost weight, slowly but surely. I'd recommend it.

OK, thanks for that.
I decided not to got this week... thought I'd just try and be a bit more disciplined and see how I got on by myself...

So I will go to bed now instead of heading for the chocolate biscuit tin!
G'night!

Try Slimming World online. It's working for me. No additional exercise yet apart from two brisk school run walks. I've lost slowly and steadily with the odd blow out, but got back on track and still lost weight.
