Has anyone tried this? Does it help you think before you eat?

Some people swear by it. There were some threads in the weight loss part of MN at one time.

Doesn't work for me, I have tried it but I am still fat

Its working for me.
Used it for 2 weeks - every night as I go to sleep.
I've not felt like snacking at night.
I now look at food and think - that's not worth the calories .
You still need some willpower not to eat chocolate biscuits all day - but it's changed the way I think about food and whether it's worth it
I'm 5'2 - I was 9.7 - so still in healthy BMI range ( just)!
have lost 5lb in 2 weeks

Worked really well for me. I stopped thinking about eating all the time. The main thing was ridding myself of guilt, not denying myself certain foods, only eating when hungry, eating slowly and doing the visualisation exercises- all of it really! I only had 1 stone to lose and it just came off.

Sounds great fletch! What exactly is involved?

As oncrepe said - you don't think about food.
I work in an office - was always craving sweets - not now
At home we have a sweetie cupboard - I was in there 2/3 times a night - not now - just don't want anything else. I think it was stress eating - I feel less stressed over food .
I should add I am active too. I have an activity tracker and easily walk more than 10,000 steps a day.

I just listen to it on my iPod every night.

I did it a few years back and it definitely worked. Have tried to get back into it a few times without success though.

I've just ordered the book and cd again as I can't find my old cd, I'm going to give it a go again as it's the only way of eating that I've ever felt good doing. Will let you know when I get started!

I did it to lose the baby weight. Easiest diet ever as you don't feel you are restricting. However you do need to stay mindful of it. I'm going to dig mine out as I need to lose a few pounds.
