No diet, no detox: how to relearn the art of eating

Has anyone read this article which makes perfect sense to me and would like to discuss it here?

www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2016/jan/05/diet-detox-art-healthy-eating

I know that all of my weight problems are due to just eating too much too often.

I had very good habits until I got pregnant and cravings got the better of me. Then child who didn't sleep at night for 3 months and boredom of staying at home with small kids made me stop eating regular meals.
I know I can reeducate myself because eating 3-4xday without any snacks is what I used to do.

Finding pleasure in food is not something I ever did. It used to be fuel or in the last nearly 2 decades a prop to boredom and tiredness.
I am able to see that and acknowledged it too.

Yeah, I saw this. Really interesting and thoughtfully written (if a little rambling in parts!). Much better than the usual guardian rubbish of "eat less move more" if only it were that easy! I also need to re learn the habit of eating real food at mealtimes and not grazing or binging because I'm tired or bored or upset.

Yes, I agree. Not using food to satisfybour stomach brain urges is going to be the hardest!
