Weight watchers or slimming world

Hi, I really need to lose at least a stone. I have done slimming world before and it worked really well, I like reasonable portions and ate lots of jacket potatoes/chilli & rice etc. i found it took lots of preparation though and now I leave for work at 7 and don't get home til 5 which leaves little time to prepare meals, I don't feel like bacon and eggs for breakfast at that time blah blah blah! I also tried a WW diet once which meant I could eat crumpets and sandwich thins - I liked that one, it was a no weighing one which suits me but I can't find the book for it now so can't quite remember it.
I'm thinking of joining WW or SW online, any thoughts?
Is there a no weighing WW option still?

I've done both, didn't get on that well with SW for pretty much the same reason as you OP. Not sure about the no weighing with WW, although I guess you could just not log your weight and that would be the same? Only drawback would be the daily points not adjusting.

SW online is crap tbh. They don't even have a food log. You can look up the syns in food but you have nowhere on the app or website to record them. This is a massive failing imo.

Thanks for replying, I meant no weighing and measuring the food on WW. I liked that you could have reasonable portions on SW. Their online thing sounds a bit rubbish then. Wonder what WW online is like. Haven't really got time for meetings.

Ah you mean the filling and healthy option? Yes I think that's still available.

That's the one!! I'd forgotten the name of it. If only I could remember what's on the list... I have lovely memories of measuring out teaspoons of Nutella on crumpets!!

There is an online food diary on the slimming world website! It's called the weight loss planner. It's on the mobile version of the website although not on the app.

Have you seen this? www.nhs.uk/Tools/Documents/WEIGHT-LOSS-PACK/all-weeks.pdf

Not sure if any use. I'm within healthy bmi range but edging up to higher and higher end of it and don't like faddy stuff so googled NHS...

I am the same, just touching healthy BMI and on my way to not being. I'll have a look at the NHS thing, thanks.

To lose a stone all I did was give up a daily strong coffee\tea (substituted water and herbal teas). Also eat fruit on an empty stomach (no extra exercise). Oh and Paul Mackenna or a new hypnotherapy app works very well. IME.
