Ideas to shift the last stone!

Well I've made it from 12st7 to 10st13, but I really want to get under 10st! Also my healthy bmi is 10st4 Blush, so I would like to go further into the healthy zone.

It's all feeling a bit slow and mundane now, as I've stuck at 10st13 for 2 weeks (poorly toddler, been stuck in the house, biscuits for company, lack of sleep... No excuses I know).

I'm thinking of doing the 30 week shred and 16:8 with 1300 calories. That's got to start shifting again surely?! Also trying to have protein/veg and not so much on the carb front.

Any advice or kicking much appreciated.

I have been doing a little bit of everything really. No more chocolate, carbs, constant 'treats' and exercising a few times a week via youtube aerobics.

I kicked myself this morning and did the first day of the 30 day shred. The cardio bits were fine, but I never relised how weak my arms are! Hopefully tomorrow will be easier...

Thank you! I was celebrating at the first pound, but now I just want to get to my target and sort out this Mum tum.

You've done really well Plum Star. I had a very similar situation.

I went from 12st 5lb to just over 10st fairly easily, then got stuck. I went up and down a few pounds for about 3 months!! It was really frustrating and I dithered over whether to just stick where I was or try and loose more. But like you, I wanted to get more comfortably into the healthy BMI range (I'm 5ft 4inches).

The last 6 weeks or so things have got moving again and I'm down to 9st 9lb, which I think is probably a good weight for my frame. I don't think I've done anything differently except just keep going really! The last bit of weight loss can be painfully slow, as I've found. It's really hard to keep motivation, especially when you're tired and have a poorly little one.

I did a similar eating plan to what you suggest in your original post, by the way. 16:8, tracking on MFP to keep to around 1300-1400 calories. I usually have a big portion of veg instead of rice/pasta with my evening meal.

Good luck and keep going!

If you can run 5k 3 times or more a week.
If you can't run it then speed walk it. You will see the difference within 4 weeks.

I shed 30 pounds doing this and are pretty healthily but still had treats and ate out now and again.
