Day 2 of clean eating and I feel like shit! Does it get better?

I have cut out sugar, processed carbs etc and am having green smoothies, lots of protein, lots of veggies and low sugar fruits, nuts, avocados etc

I feel like shit. I have a terrible headache, feel cranky and am very tired. Is this normal? How long does it last?

I was expecting to feel all revitalised and full of energy!

Have you cut caffeine? That often gives people horrible withdrawal headaches for a few days.

I drink loads of water, I'm definitely hydrated enough. I don't really drink much caffeine but have had one coffee today

I have been googling and I think it's the sugar withdrawal! Horrible!

Sounds like sugar withdrawal - get through 2 days then you will feel great hopefully

I only eat sugar in the form of alcohol : you'll be fine
