I've put on a stone in the last few months! Time to get it off

I've put on a years worth of weight loss in 3 months :(
I eat well and exercise like a loon (run 30km a week plus 2-3 exercise classes) but a few old habits have snuck back in: binge eating on weekends, eating kids left overs.
I've put on a stone. At my lightest (in May) I was 10stone 2. Now I'm 11stone 3. I'm 5ft 10 so I'm not technically overweight but I feel awful.
I lost the weight before by calorie counting (between 1200-1400 cals a day). I need a good kick up the arse to get this weight off. I'm hoping to get it all off by December 1st. Anyone with me?

I am going to sneak in here. I lost about 16lbs last year on here but I got really stressed over the summer and put a chunk back on which has been a bit disappointing but I would love to get a stone off. I also run a bit and do a lot of other exercise. I used MFP but I need to get a bit more religious about it. Good luck.

Me too. Ideally I'd like to be around 8 stone as I'm happy at that weight (I'm 5'3) but I'm just under 10 stone at the moment which isn't far from being overweight at my height!

I'm the heaviest I've ever been - I usually float between 8 to 8 and a half stone but I moved house a couple of years ago and feeling lonely and a bit miserable sent me up to 9, which was fine it didn't bother me too much. Now I've made quite a few friends and I've been socialising and drinking too much and even though I'm much happier my waist line is bigger and I put on another stone! Shock I've lost a few pounds in the last few weeks as I went up to 10 stone 4 but I still don't feel happy.

We've got this ladies. The wake up call for me was I tried my wedding dress on earlier and I couldn't do the zip up. I only got married 2 weeks ago and it fitted like a glove then!

Whoops, I've been doing really well and managed a weekend with no take aways (highly unusual in this household - take away on a Friday is law!) I've just ruined it by eating a family sized bar of Dairy Milk Blush. I was starving as I've been painting all day. Maybe painting used a lot of calories so it's fine? doubt it.Grin

I've been very good so far!
Yesterday I had:
Breakfast - 2egg omelette with mushrooms and spinach
Mid morning - protein shake
Lunch - Turkey mince bolognaise with courgetti
After school - boiled egg and raw carrot sticks
Tea - chicken breast, brocolli, cauliflower, swede

Today I've had
Breakfast: 2 egg omelette with mushrooms and spinach
Mid morning: protein shake
Lunch: turkey stir fry
After school: protein shake and a Myprotein chocolate wafer.
Haven't had tea as I've been in college and only just got back.

Did a 3 mile run yetserday morning and 4 miles this morning. Will be doing 30 mins of weight training tomorrow evening but will be giving my legs a break from running in the morning.

I am in!

I have put on 2 stone since last year. I used to be bulimic and a massive drinker and I gave up drinking then gave up vomiting but not the bingeing. I think I am about 12 stone.

My aim is to get back to healthy eating habits, but not to go back to bingeing or vomiting. I am going in 10 day cycles... so tweaking my diet every ten days, if that makes sense.... adding a healthy habit in.

I want to be 9 stone 7 by August next year.

So for this ten day cycle I am aiming to;

Food aim - 3 serves fruit breakfast
Exercise aim - 30 minutes daily.

I also need to pay closer attention to my appearance. Hair and makeup.

Please can I join?

Oooohhh.. might need to add some protein into breakfast otherwise it would just be a sugar hit.

Cheesy that's such a sensible way to do it! Yes definately protein for breakfast - it will satisfy you for longer and help curb cravings

Excellent. :)

Thanks!

I have to do things slowly, as I am a bit all or nothing (hence the bulimia). I need to change my mindset for life.

Thanks for letting me join!

I am really trying to up my protein and down my carbs. My exercising is good. Just got doss nosed with asthma which has been holding me back so hopefully with that diagnosis I might be able to get fitter. I ran 6km yesterday and today I walked 12km. Running does nothing for weightloss though. That comes from food as far as I can see.

I have been hoping for a thread like this! I have also put on a stone through snacking etc-please can I join? Get married at Christmas and dress fittings are end of October so need to sort ASAP!

I was 10'8, lost 4lbs last week and aiming for 9'8/9'10. My big prob is the sweet stuff and snacking been v good the past week or so though. I also need to get back into excersie, used to run 25miles a week and do classes on top but in struggling for 10 miles a week at mo!

My plan is shake thing for brekkie (tricks me into thinking I've had something sweet), soup for lunch and big salad/veg based dinner. The past 10 days have gone ok, been away for work past couple of days and had minstrel/skittle binge yest but back on it today! Aiming for 3 mile run at lunch

So nice to have company :)
Today I've had:
Breakfast 2 egg omelette, with mushrooms, ham and spinach
Mid morning: my protein chocolate wafer
Lunch: Turkey stir fry (and another half of a wafer bar)
Now: protein shake with a couple of strawberries thrown in. Going to the gym for a weights session in about an hour.
Tea is chicken and salad and a corn on the cob.
All comes to 1308 calories and 50 grams of carbs

Can I join too please?

Lost 4 st on the Cambridge Diet but have put a stone back on since stopping in Feb! Need to shift that stone again but I don't want to keep going back to faddy milkshake diets - I need to address my eating habits for life.

Am cutting right back on carbs and sugar. My problem is the constant biscuits/chocolate/general snacks available to me in work and I can't just eat one! Sad Yesterday I declined two chocolate biscuits (on separate occasions) and giant chocolate buttons. Today I have declined Krispy Kremes twice and full fat hot chocolate. I need to maintain willpower!

Today was not bad. 2 eggs for breakfast. Baked potato and salad for lunch and chilli with bean salad for tea. My knee is sore so my run was cut short only 4.5 km.

I also refused a Krispy Kreme today- I hated / loved myself with equal measure!

I have had:-

B-choc protein shake-really helping me break sugar breakfast habit!
L-West African chicken soup
D-grilled haloumi salad

And a couple of pears.

What protein shakes are you all having? Are they low carb too? Struggling with sugar cravings too!

I've had -

B - scrambled egg, tinned toms, bacon
L - homemade chickpea curry with loads of veg and brown rice
T - salmon with slow cooked med veg
Snacks - natural live yoghurt, raw beetroot

Reckon that Krispy Kreme would've been nice but proud to say I refused!

Rats! I've been having celebrity slim ones (originally was going to blitz shakes but since found only really fancy one a day) the chocolate one is v nice-but just checked and it's quite high in sugar? However, it really is helping me at breakfast. Previously I'd have had chocolate / biscuits and I'd be off snacking for the day then. Whereas I have a shKe, still get chocolate hit but craving sated, so don't then snack rest of day.

It's really working for me so I'm not questioning too much!

I have the USN pure protein strawberry flavour. I love it. Couldn't go back to myprotein now. It's a bit pricey so I try to catch it when it's on offer on Amazon.
Just been for a 4 mile run. Demolished my omlette. Now to get the ratbags ready for school!
