I know slim fast isn't the best thing to do but I seriously need a kick start to lose weight! Decided to try it for a week or two - had a shake for breakfast and it wasn't too bad. Anyone else doing it? Fancy joining me?
If you get sick of it, just to alternate, have two scoops of porridge with half skimmed milk half water and then add (if you want to) a level spoon of apple sauce. That has less than 180 calories so a good 40 (?) less than slimfast.
and way cheaper! I do this sometimes and i consider it like slimfast if that makes sense because I know the exact calorie content.
But I get that you need a kick start. I need that too.
I'm doing meal replacment shakes too, but I have the celebrity slim ones. I understand that long term it's not ideal ect, but I've been struggling for a while now to get under 11st. This could be the jump start I need. I started at 13st, and hoping to get to 10.
I'm doing a shake for breakfast and lunch, sensible portion size for dinner and little snacking.
I've been trying to use them for a while now as a kick start but I find it makes me so hungry by the evening that I snap and eat tons all evening good luck OP, I'll be keeping on trying to use them too - I have a wedding in a few weeks! Ahrg!
