Anyone else nearing goal and struggling a bit?

I've lost over 30 pounds since Feb, eating carefully and exercising more. I'm just within my healthy bmi but want to lose another 9 pounds or so to sit comfortably in the healthy range.

Obviously the weight's coming off more slowly now and that's fine but I am struggling to keep at it. I'm so close but yet so far!

Anyone in a similar situation?

me. lost all my baby weight very quickly but forever have the last 3-4lb to go Envy I'm desperate to lose it too as it would just about put me in the healthy range.

no advice though sorry! but you're not alone!

I started another thread but I'm chatting on it alone mostly, so happy to jump on here. I need weekly wi, daily menu check and hourly reminders not to stuff my face Grin

haha hi twinkle, very similar here. just ate a cheese twist. I bought it as a treat but really regret eating it now. I feel full and guilty! and on the verge of saying - I've ruined it now so sod it. but will try to make up for it by eating healthily later

I can totally relate to that chumbler! Especially the throwing the baby out with the bath water feeling after eating something I wasn't supposed to.

I'm really close to being the weight I want to now. It is demoralising being stuck (but at least I'm not gaining). I might try exercising more on the same amount of calories and see what happens. I don't think I can face eating less and it definitely wouldn't be sustainable.

I've been posting on another thread since Feb but pretty much everyone had buggered off! It'd be lovely to have some support from people going through a similar struggle and I definitely need those hourly reminders too twinkle!!

What's everyone been doing to lose the weight?

Can I join in? I've lost 36.5lbs, I have 7.5lbs to go. I have simply lost focus and my mojo...I can't stop binging and sabotaging myself. I should be at goal now. I'm not. I've just eaten crisps, cheese, olives and sweets. I feel sick and I'm disgusted with myself.
I need to find my motivation and energy to finish this journey. Please let me stay to help me x

You are very welcome Otto. I've been hovering around the same weight for a couple of weeks and am trying not to let it get to me. Easier said than done! I like to weigh in daily to keep an eye on things but feel really annoyed when the scale has boinged back up again.

Can I join?

I have lost 37lbs using mfp. I now weigh 10stone which is fine for my height (5ft6) but I would really like to get down to at least 9 stone 7.

I have lost my mojo too. I'm not putting weight on but I am not losing it either. I keep thinking ahh it doesn't matter because I'm at a healthy weight, but I am not comfortable yet. It was so much easier to feel motivated when I had so much to lose.

I start the day well, good breakfast, usually good lunch but I lose it at dinner time and overeat. This undoes the rest of the day. I'm eating at maintenance when I should still be at a deficit.

I have lost my exercise mojo too, I just can't be bothered!!

I did really well yesterday then ate chocolate after dinner whilst watching GBBO - damn! Am on my period though which makes me want to eat.

I have lost my exercise mojo too, I was running a couple of times a week but now I go once every couple of weeks Blush

I've started this morning with a cereal bar and yoghurt instead of my usual porridge. I'm not really hungry so listening to my body.

I know porridge is better for me though! But can't face it this morning.

wow well done everyone you've all lost so much!!

I need to lose 2lb to get back into the healthy bmi range. ideally I'd like to get to 10 stone so that's another stone to lose, haven't been that weight for years (although I was 8st 7lb 10 years ago!!) anyway a long way to go and I guess because I haven't been that weight for so long it just seems like a fantasy, so I don't take it seriously!

was going running too but doc's advised me to swim instead, so I bought a swimming costume and tried it on today, ripped the sides Sad Sad Sad Sad so depressed. I haven't thrown if yet, thinking maybe seeing it will shame me into actually trying for once

for breakfast I have granola, yogurt and fruit. used to have porridge but can't face it in the summer!

made a lovely lunch yesterday which I'll make again today - half a mashed avocado on toast with sliced boiled egg - yum!

Hi flanjabel! 9st 7 is my ideal weight too! my goal at the moment is to lose my few pounds to get to 10st 13 (healthy bmi at last!), then I'm aiming for 10st 7lb Smile

Welcome Flan.

I am aiming for 9 stone 9 pounds, so similar to you and chumbler.

This last bit seems like it's so much harder than losing the "bulk" (if you pardon the turn of phrase) of the weight!!

I would love to be 9st 7 again but that was a good 10 years ago. I got to 9st 9 about 4 years ago before my wedding. Currently hovering just under 10st 7 and aiming for 10 stone this time round.

Hi all, can I join in

I wanted to lose 40.5lb, currently standing at 37.5lb. Been doing wwers since 30th Jan this year.

According to wwers I need to be 9st11lb to have a healthy bmi, so that is my goal target weight.

Last week I gained half a pound. That has sent me on a binge fest this week. My own worst enemy.

I now have two pound to get to target weight. I really hope I don't see 10st again this week:( I've worked so hard and had great results up till last week:(

Wow Den. Fantastic loss! You are so close Flowers.

I'm worried about maintenance. I've lost weight before and some crept back on when I returned to old habits. Why that should have come as a surprise I don't know!! It is completely logical!

I'm try to see this last bit as preparation for maintenance.

I'm going to weigh in and log it here on Saturday if anyone wants to join me? Maybe we could put a few stats about how much we've lost, current weight and goal?

Morning. I weigh everyday To try and keep myself on track. I haven't been logging properly for the last few days as I just can't be bothered but I am trying to stay low calorie. I have dropped down to 9stone 13 today, so heading in the right direction.

I'm really hoping that I have learnt enough over the last 6 months to continue to eat the right things without having to log constantly, but I don't know if that is a bit risky at this stage.

I just hate that the desire to overeat is coming back. I constantly feel the urge to eat far more than I need. It's frustrating as I thought I had beaten those urges.

My stats:

Start weight: 12 stone 8 (January 2015)
Current weight: 9 stone 13
short term goal weight: 9 stone 7
End goal: to be decided when I see how I feel at 9 stone 7
