Started a new teaching job last Sept. We get a free school meal each day and although there is a salad bar, i am more of a toad in the hole followed by sticky toffee pudding girl!! Hence, this year I have put on a stone.

Now 10st 7 and 5'6"
I intend to up the exercise, eat sensibly and march during TV ad breaks!

A colleague has lost 2 stone and marching/dancing/running on spot during the ads was her top tip.

Anyone fancy joining me on my slim for Sept journey?

Me Me Me!

New inclusion manager job, need to fit back into my smart gear. I've been dossing about in leggings and tunics in a PRU for the last few years.

Planning on low carbing as I know it works for me. Smile

Great to have others on board.

Going out for a walk and will attempt to run a couple of roads. I like it as it is getting dark and nobody will see me...hopefully!

Why are all cereals so full of sugar? Bran flakes 11g of sugar per 30g portion. Shocking.

Braved slimming world today. Was heaving. All friendly people do that's good. Done my food planner and shopping list so fingers crossed.
Aim to continue my 20k steps a day plus gym classes. So Grit cardio tonight and 1/2 hr weights in the gym Grin

HI
I would love to join your group, I need to loose a stone before we start trying for a baby, me and other half have agreed that we need to shift it now!
I'm making smoothies for breakfast, salad for lunch and healthy lo cal dinner while trying to do more excercise.....I've lost in the past the same way but its always crept back on, this has got to be the best incentive though!
Good luck everyone x

I'll join here. I need to lose at least a stone in 6 weeks. I'm joining Slimming World today.

Yes please. I'm heavier than I've ever been due to bring poorly, generally lazy when it comes to meal planning etc and a bit piggy.

I so want to weigh a stone less when I go back to work in Sept.

I've joined nutracheck online (like mfp but suits me more) am sticking to my cals and will try and walk more although I've had an op on my hip and am still having to take things a little carefully at the moment.

2 good days here and another planned tomorrow. Loving lots of the features of nutracheck and finding my 1300 cals easy to stick to - so far. I have a few meals out coming up so need to plan ahead for how to deal with those without spoiling things.

I'm a sneaky-peeker and hop on the scales most mornings to keep track of how I'm doing. Was already a couple of lb down this morning so looking forward to seeing what my first full week's weight loss will be.

Hello, can I join?

I keep falling off the low carb wagon.

My plan is low carb and run. Can someone possibly pop to my house at 7.30 each night and kick me until I jog 2 miles??!!!

I'm 13 St 8 and would like to drop 8 lb by my hols in august

Hi! Would definitely like to go back to work a stone lighter. Have downloaded MFP many months ago so I am going to try and stick to that as well as fitting in as much exercise as I can. Has anyone got one of those step counter things that you wear on your wrist? Are they any good?

Count me in.

I started at 13st last year, lost a stone. Now I'm hovering around 11 1/2 - 12. I'm having too many days off, cheat meals and need to get back on it.

Mfp works for me. I've found planning out my meals and snacks in advance helps, so I'm ticking things off as I eat them rather than discovering Ive run out of calories for my dinner as I had a doughnut.

thobbly, I don't have a fitbit that you wear on your wrist because I get irritation from just wearing my watch so I got the original fitbit zip instead which clips on to your clothes. (I clip it onto my bra right where it touches my chest in the middle). Unlike cheap pedometers it has a really strong clip and never budges and can't be seen. It's great. And it syncs with nutracheck (or mfp) too.
