Have just lost 2 stone in the last 9 months with 5:2. I love it because I only need to count calories 2 days a week - part time dieting!

The rest of the time I eat & drink what I like. The first stone came off a lot quicker than the second but I wasn't surprised about that...

Watching this one. 2 stone is exactly what I need to shift.

Also watching. What's the easiest diet to do with 2 under 5s in the house and a sleep deprived sugar craving brain like a sieve??

Lost 2 stone in three months using my fitness pal. Went for a walk every lunchtime, watched what I ate. That was about it. My husband didn't even realise I was eating any differently for the first couple of months. Smaller portions of carbs, loads of veg, less fruit. No big deal but down two dress sizes.

I have lost 4 stone in the last year, using Myfitnesspal. You tell it your details and how much you want to lose. It gives you a calorie allowance.
I log everything I eat. You can scan food barcodes, if you use the app. The up side is you can eat what you want, within reason.
But, if you eat high calorie stuff you will run out of allowance, sooner, so you learn to have healthier things, so you don't go hungry.
I added in a Fitbit at Christmas, which has really upped my activity. Walking every day.

My fitness pal app. If I actually used it id be skinny but I'm too greedy. But the odd time I've used it I've lost weight easily. Very easily.

Slimming world. Have lost almost a stone in 5 weeks. Haven't felt hungry once.

I cut our refined sugar and cut right back on processed food, don't eat wheat (it makes me bloated anyway) or potatoes. So lots of brown rice, oat cakes, oats...things that keep you full for longest.

Added to that, and to keep my portion size under control, I do weight watchers, so I am tracking what I am eating.

Then lots of walking and gym classes if I can fit them in. If not then Pilates and weights at home.

So far its working well. I have done the same in the past, just without the WW but frankly I ate too much so the results were much slower.

I have lost 5 stone in a year on slimming world. for me it's about a long term eating plan as I don't want to put the weight back on again, and I think I will be able to follow the slimming world principles now I am at target

I lost a lot of weight with the 12 week body transformation with Michelle Bridges (www.12wbt.com), about 26lb in 3 months (and some of that weight was offset by muscle). After that I used what I'd learned about healthy eating on her program and carried on with myfitnesspal and a fitbit. It's not a gimmick - just healthy eating and exercise, 3

The difference with this program was the exercise and my body and overall health really improved - I've done WW successfully before, but this was significant in how I felt and looked.

Overall I went from a size 18 to 8 in about 10 months. I found the food very inexpensive and filling and I tried lots of new food that I hadn't before - tonight I've got a banana curry in the slow cooker, it will last me for days and is very low fat but high protein, so filling. I never get hungry and feel very well.
