10 minute solution dvds?

Hi there I'm an incredibly out of shape 42 year old, have 4 stone to lose and a LOT of toning required. Can't go to gym as no childcare. I really need exercise that I can fit in around being single mum to 2 under 5s.

Has anyone used these DVDs and can you recommend them or any others? If so please tell me why. Thanks.

I've only got 10 minutes pilates but really like it. I'm currently heavily pregnant but will be buying a few more when DC2 is here! I think it's the psychology of knowing it's only 10 minutes, but that you can choose to do several 10 min workouts if you want. Once you've done 10 mins, it's quite easy to just bolt on another.

Jillian michaels is another good one-her "30 day shred" is popular (and about 20 mins I think). Good luck!

Thanks for your response. I did 30 day shred a few years ago and it made no difference but I think that may have bee. Because I was still eating crap after doing it (hmm) I could barely walk the length of myself when heavily pregnant so hats off to you btw.

Oh no-I'm doing nothing at the moment!! I meant when I'm no longer pregnant I'll be buying some more DVDs (very easy to plan when I'm sitting here eating custard creams...).

About 8 months after DS was born, DH and I did the Insanity workout which really did work but it took 45-60 mins 6 days a week. No way could I do it again, but there's one called T25 which is only 25 mins. They are very very intense but will probably do the trick!

30 day Shred is 25 minutes with warm up/cool down. I've lost quite a bit this last week doing Shred and Slimming World.

I've not tried the Davina 15 minute ones, but seen them highly rated on these boards.

Davina ' s 7 minute one is very good. Was to motivate yourself to just do a section and then you end up doing three!

I am not doing these at the mo but quite liked them in the past. Its worth checking if the workouts you are interested in are on you tube that way you could try them out first here's one for example keep looking through results as your first searches might be dubbed with another language!
