Has anyone joined the gym in January ? Looking for a buddy ..

I've got myself a Fitbit and have joined the gym. I've done two classes this week with gym induction tomorrow .. Is anyone attacking the fat in this way and would like to share results .. I have 2 and a half stone to lose .

how did it go? I am going tonight to run a bit and do some weights - walking to and from work so I hope this should get the fitbit some numbers to chew on! Are you trying any sort of diet to lose the weight or going for the exercise route?

I've tried so many diets before and they cost so much to go and get weighed every week. That's why I'm trying this approach . My gym is amazing and it's only £31 a month off peak ( which suits me ) I'm using the food log on the fit bit and sticking to 1200 calories a day . I asked the instructor if she thought that was kk and she said yes but I need to eat more if exercise loads .. I weighed self this morning and have lost a pound so that's good.. I'll wait until next Friday to weigh again I think . The gym was good .. They have tv on every screen .. I had no idea !!

Morning - you are good - I am stuck at work today but got fitbit ready for a long walk at lunch ... tomorrow going to gym to do some weights and another run. Trying to be good on the food side as most of the loss comes from that but it is only 9.20 and already hungry....

It was good .. I'd almost say fun confusedconfused.. Weekend off and back on it Monday .. I don't think I've lost any weight yet .. Maybe next week wink

I have a fitbit and am looking for friends... you can add them using the app! Am also on mfp and using my BMR instead of the calorie allowance that mfp recommends!

I've done a week of 1200 calories and exercise .. I do feel a little bit thinner today but I had my period last week so I'm not sure wether it's because of that ..Now I know my body can do it I'll work harder next week . Excited that it may actually work . smilesmile

Well I haven't lost any weight !!hmmhmm..back there this morning and sticking religiously to 1200 calories .. I really didn't want to do a fad diet this time as I did Dukan a while back and it nearly killed me .. Doing funny things to my heart and blood pressureshockshock.. Ah well I'll keep at it !
