I've been really careful this week and thought I'd lose around 2 lbs. Nope I've put on 4 lbs and am the heaviest I've ever been. Slimming world used to do the trick nicely to lose a few pounds but last time I followed it I didn't get on so well. I don't live on junk and make most meals from scratch. Feel like buying a massive pizza with ice cream to follow. What's the point of eating spinach salad if I'm still putting on bloody weight.
bmi says I'm over weight I'm bulging out of my size 12 clothes and cannot get control. I'm completely lost sad

Have you exercised a lot and made more muscle? My h went to SW and put on 4 lbs in his second week and gave up. I've always rated SW highly.

Me too. I was doing well until I decided to have a little break over Christmas now I can't seem to stop eating crap. I know what I need to do, but I just can't find the determination.

Ive given up now.

Still going to go to the gym 4/5 times a week, but that's it as far as I can be bothered.

it's so disheartening, and you do feel like what's the f ing point. Are you due on?

I bet if you keep going you will see some loss, it's mathematics in the end.
I think.

Are you pre-menstrual or ovulating? Both can put pounds on due to water retention

I've had this before, and according to my scales I've also lost 4 lbs in a day. If you keep doing the right thing then over time you will lose weight. You just have to keep telling yourself that.

It is time of the month. My periods last a week and a bit and are really heavy and painful so that doesn't help with how crap I'm feeling. Not exercising lots but do walk 3 times a week. Generally active with 3 young dc.
I've gone off bread completely and am bloated all the time sad

Keep going. You are doing the right things, don't fall off the wagon. I'm eating healthily at the moment and dread the feeling you have now, when I get on the scales on Monday. I'm preparing myself in advance so that if I haven't done well I won't go back to my old ways. This is because it can take weeks (of damage!) to resolve to try again. Keep on going, next week you will have a good loss.
I have three stone to lose so I have to accept that it will be a long haul. You are doing more exercise than me, it will come off, don't lose heart.
