Hi there

I am new to the weight loss board though been posting on MN since 2003.

Culmination of many things resulted yesterday in me kicking myself up bottom and committing to myself to lose 12 pounds. I'd like to do this in 8 weeks (vacation) which means i need two pounds a week for the first 4 weeks and 1 pound for the last 4 weeks.

I've downloaded MFP and I've booked three fitness classes each week (after work).

Anyone want to do this with me? I'd just like someone to chat to each day to be honest.

Have you checked to see if there are any groups already following MFP as a way to weight loss?

I know there are groups for low-carb, WW, SW, etc so there may be something set up already

I read thru but couldn't see any - perhaps I didn't look in the right place

If anyone can point me to a thread i will join (and I'll also go and look again to see if I missed any grin)
