Make me shred

The table is pulled out of the way. The jingly music is playing. Jillian is grinning at me and waiting to introduce me to her "two best girls helping us out". But I cannot bring myself to press play.
I did so well last week, a full week of shredding and watching what I eat. This week, Mr Motivation has left the building. I've already hada a square of chocolate.

I did Level 3 Day 1 on Friday and today am going to an exercise class, but I don't think I will get to shred again till Thursday! But I will keep going . . .

Is there room for one more on the shredmill? I am a big 30 day fan, but always have an excuse why I can't do it right now. I used to do it as soon as I got in from work, but the train only had to be 5 mins late and I'd use it as an excuse not to do it. I then switched to the morning, the excuses for that was that I had a hard day ahead and needed the extra half hour in bed. My personal fave was putting aside time yesterday but then deciding I needed to do the ironing because I'd used a new fabric softener and was curious to see what it smelt like when still fresh (even my own brain couldn't really justify that). Anyway, I intend to get back on it tomorrow, motivation isn't my strong point but I need to get a bit fitter as I want to lose a stone and am starting a clean 9 in two weeks :-)

Balloon level 3 is loads better than level 2 IMO.

I am back on the shredmill! I did day 6 yesterday and day 7 today of level 3. Today was tough but forced myself to do it.

I need to get going again.

I am pleased with myself for shredding while the DCs had their tea, instead of my normal practice of a cup of tea, a snack and mumset. Will try to keep it up.

IME it takes a long time and a lot of bad eating to undo the good work you've already put in, you'll be back on the shredmill in no time thanks

Hey wallpaper and ripping well i have poorly DC so shredding is on hold, haven't managed to shred since Thursday. Gutted because i was really enjoying level 3. If they miraculously nap at the same time or at all i'll squeeze it in but it looks unlikely.

Wallpaper how long is each workout in ripped? I would really like a dynamic yoga dvd with 30 minute workouts, any ideas?

Hi twenty! I've not checked in for ages but great to see you working your way through L3! I loved L3,it was good fun! What plans have you got for after you're shredded? Im on W2 of ripped in 30, I didn't particularly like W1 but W2 is a really good challenge!

Hello everyone hope you are all getting on well, im finally back after a 2 week break typical that as soon as I finished shred I came down with a virus followed by a stomach bug! started on ripped today really felt the break and stamina was like id never done shred at all, hopefully I pick up again soon will keep at it

I'm feeling much better, back out running now and into week2 of 5:2 fasting which I'm finding surprisingly easy

Now I'm well again and sorted out my shins I'll be shredding on non-running days

L3 shred is great fun isn't it?

Done day 2 today after missing one out on account of my legs being so stiff. I took myself out on a massive 2 hour walk yesterday which helped ease things up. Got on with it today and it wasn't too exhausting. The crunches where you have to lift your legs and bum kill my lower spine though. It felt really crunchy. Yowl.

Does anyone else struggle to lift themselves during crunches wihout wanging their head up? I have no stomach muscles

I did level 3! Really enjoyed it, much more interesting than level 2. I could do some of the harder bits too.

Did day 11 of L2 today. A few attempted press-ups but by the third cardio circuit I was begging for mercy!

Well done you guys. Don't know whether it will be Sunday or Monday next for me. Tomorrow is a day of ferrying kids to various activities!
