I usually have way too much - chips, mayo, 4 large glasses of wine blush

I'm dieting - I've cut out wine, chips, may, cheese etc etc

But saturday night is friend's birthday - mexiacan restaurant ( chimichangas ?) and I don't want to look like a killjoy but I don't want vat loads of wine & friedn foods

I dont want a hangover the next day so I undo all my good work

is gin and slimline tonic a good idea? pimms? somethign and diet coke?

I was thinking grilled salmon salad for my main

I don't want everyone pointing and going 'she's on a diet' lol

Help !

If I stick to vodka instead of wine I can usually escape a hangover and salmon sounds good.

thanks that sounds good -what do you have with the vodka?

Lime and soda makes it into a longer drink (ask for a bigger glass) otherwise I neck a standard size tonic with vodka in no time!

Or how about sharing a main and a salad with a friend?

Or two starters as a main eg corn on the cob and prawn skewers?

oh is that good calorie wise? I'm such a novice blush

I'm not sure,I just had a look at the Chiquitos website assuming that's the type of place you're going to. And those two starters seem fairly healthy.

I think the main thing is hangover avoidance so you don't just end up eating shit next day lol.s

I wonder how many calories is in this :

Sizzling Sea Bass

Sea bass marinated in lime, coriander and garlic, served over roasted vegetables on a sizzling skillet

sounds yum too!

Go for it!

i do gin and slimline tonic or offer to drive and give lifts. does the website of the restaurant you are going to give calories online? its really helpful to research it and work out the low fat options in advance, think that in itself is the key! worrying about it in the restaurant does scream i'm on a diet.
