I'm slim, but have quite a flabby tummy. It's a mix of untoned stomach muscles (I had 2 c-sections 21 months apart),and also some fat on top. My stomach is noticealy bigger in the evenings, so it's a bit of bloating too. I'd like to have a flatter stomach by the end of June as I have a wedding to go to, so would like a wider choice of outfit, and also going to holiday in July, so would like to look good in a swimming cossie.
I'm trying to reduce carbs, although not really low carb, as I want to keep eating things like pulses and fruit. Definitely no refined carbs though and also minimum amount of wheat. And ofcouse aiming to limit sugar as much as possible. I've not had any biscuits or cake or ages actually, and not really missing it. Going to increase good fats in the diet like avocado, nuts and oily fish, which is supposed to help get rid of belly fat....bizzarely.
I'm doing some ab excercises from Mutu (the free ones which seem to be quite good). I go to Zumba twice a week. Might fit in one or two half hour runs during the week too if I can be bothered.
Anyone else want to do it with me? Also if anybody has got rid of a flabby belly....tips please
