Can't link to this from old thread but thought I'd start a new one as the old one was getting full and kept crashing my kindle.

Dinkydoos DS 4yo sometimes does it with me. He is so cute. His press ups are hilarious grin I did it once and was doing high knees, with Jillian in one ear shouting "up, up, up" and DS in the other shouting "up, up, up"
Well done on managing 3 G&Ts Tea on under 600 calories. Very impressive.

Did some exercising in the park today, they have those heavy duty machines. Such a lovely day, but the fields are still flooded so it was mighty muddy.

Lvl3 RI30 for me today. Mostly ok but anybody find that the stork stands are a real PITA to keep good form on. I keep wobbling and travelling when i do them. Still think lvl2 is harder. One legged burppees anyone?

Well done Double - love park exercising just for the sheer number of people you get to look at to pass the time. None of the parks in Bath have exercise machines but I think I know the ones you mean - they have them in Spain on the promenade.

<wonders whether there is a market in Under 5s leading exercise DVDs>

Geek my balance is ok for those stork-y things. I totally phone it in at the one legged burpees though. I find lv 3 harder than 2, haven't tried lv 4 yet.
I did lv 1 6P6W tonight, it is a bit longer, but a bit gentler.
tea yes, I had had the same idea. Or the child could be the side kick in the background grin

Just checking in to say well done all you shredders, hockey players and gin swallowers. One legged burpees are a step too far even for me though.

The personal trainer comes on a Monday now so it's good to get that particular torture out of the way at the start of the week, although I am starting to slightly enjoy myself. What's that all about?

Tea think you are on to something with the under 5s leading exercise dvds. I can sooo imagine 3yr old DD shouting "No, not like that Mummy, you do it like this!"

After a total blowout on Fri/Sat I'm really surprised another pound's come off. I think it's definitely the exercise and am actually starting to see a difference to my thighs/legs. Not the stomach though. That seems to be resisting all attempts to remove the wobble. Onwards and downwards...

Geek, those stork things are a killer. I love Level 4 of RI30, my favourite Jillian workout ever and I don't think it is as hard as Level2.
Think it may be psychological? All this "There has never been a Level 4" gubbins.

Retaining water like a bugger at the moment, not looking good for tomorrow.

Well done bleeding, so close!

Only 1.6lb off for me the week.disappointing as I've still got a long way to go but still downwards so could be worse. Think I'll definitely go back to daily counting though, seems like that worked better for me.

Totm started yesterday but I've really stuck to the 5:2 and did a tonne of walking the past two days so should really have lost more than that.

Well done all you exercisers, you all sound terrifying!

Good losses Herecomesbod, bleeding and Randall.

I'm 3 days into my little experiment not to count and log calories. Going okay so far though I do find myself wondering the calorie counts in things I've not eaten before like this morning's post-gym full-fat yoghurt from Gail's Bakery. I don't seem to have over-eaten so far, as far as I can tell, and certainly no binging (though I find 5:2 an appetite suppressant post-fast days which is very interesting). I'm snacking less too now I'm not monitoring calories - I wonder now if my snacking was down to having to make up the shortfall in my daily calories. Or it could just be a coincidence grin.

Anyway, I completed Week 2, Run 2 today of Couch to 5K which I am really enjoying now that I can listen to my own music.

Out at Kenilworth Castle today and something is going on, as I'm stepping on the bottom of my trousers big time, I need a belt. Waist doesn't feel all that different, but I wonder if I've lost some of my revolting c-sec shelf (sorry if TMI).

I would just like to make it clear I didn't do any running at Kenilworth Castle. Apart from anything else my trousers would have fallen down. Have just done lots of gardening and now I'm really aching but need to cook a roast dinner for my parents. Bit fed up!

Does MFP take into account weight when working out calories expended through exercise, just wondering how someone doing 30 minutes moderate pace burnt less calories than me at leisurely pace?

Yes. It does. They might be using a calorie monitor too which takes into account terrain and speed to. If I do the same walk as DH we can have 500 calories different for the same walk. I use MFP, he uses a specialised app but writes over the calculated value against for example walking 2.5mph, with the more accurate reading.

4lb loss on today's weigh-in. But as last week there was nothing suspect bastard water retention was the culprit, it represents two weeks worth of work so happy with a healthy steady loss.

Today is not a fast day and I have a pie for tea. Oh, the excitement of life!

double hope the effort on the roast was worth it. It looked lovely.

Morning Chiefs.
Well done all you losers, including Double and her disappearing waist line.
I think I am getting a bit exercise obsessed! I used to be like this in my 20's a very long I've ago and I'd forgotten the buzz exercising gives.
I went for a brisk lunchtime walk, did day 2 of C25K and lv3 RI30 yesterday!
I'll try and walk at lunchtime again today. Not sure if I'll be able to do any exercising tonight because I'm having a pedicure at 5pm and I always get paranoid about smudging the varnish afterwards grin Might risk it by about 9pm.
Keep losing everyone.
