Sorry to be a bit late this morning - no doubt you're all chomping at the bit to declare all on the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

You were probably busy knitting.

I can't spreadsheet from my phone - sorry to whoever was telling us off for non-entry! :) I'm 175.2 this morning if someone would like to do it...

Marking place & having a moan as I have lost NOTHING (actually gained a teeny amount Sad). I think I may be due an AF, despite having the implant, as I have achy boobs & general icky-ness, so fingers crossed that's the reason.

Sticking with it as I know it works & I've seen good results in the past.

Well done all the losers Envy, hopefully I'll be among you next week.

HavingAnOffDay - don't worry - it will be your menstrual cycle messing with things. If you can possibly manage it, try and drink a bit more water.

Pistey - I was trying to have a lie-in this morning, till DH very helpfully woke me up to tell me I had to wake DS2 up Hmm.

bigstick may I just ask on your list it says no nuts but I am following IPD do you think I should quit the nuts ?? The Veg list is really helpful thanks.

BigStickBIWI · 14/01/2013 09:04

It's up to you - you need to decide which plan you're following! Nuts are allowed on Bootcamp from next week, if that helps.

First week loss 4.6lbs. I think I was hoping for more as I've been really good. BUT, that's the mosti've ever lost on the first week of any diet so onwards and downwards. :)

Firsttimepig · 14/01/2013 09:07

bigstick thanks can you add me onto your sheet too ? I will keep the nuts as need the fibre. its only a small handful a day.

Report
Sorelip · 14/01/2013 09:09

I've lost 5lb. Not bad, considering I was drinking for 3 of those days, and had a carby day yesterday.

I am 9lb down since last week (and 5lb down since yesterday (?how). Am slightly disbelieving. Have dualit scales which are accurate as far as I know but not terribly precise - they show kg (I'm now 80kg) but show stones and lb with divisions of 2lb.

Food yesterday - a gallon of lassi (not really exaggerating) and lots of decaf coffee with soya milk.

B: 2 eggs with Boursin
L: meatloaf, broccoli and leeks
snack : babybel, inadvertent bite of apple, cheese and mayonnaise
D: cauliflower cheese, salad, various meats, ham etc, olives

Hi littlemissstano, I've added your details onto the spreadsheet. :)

Sorry, littlemissstan.

Firsttimepig - if you're eating enough veg/salad, fat and drinking enough water, you shouldn't need the extra fibre from nuts!

And when you say 'it's only a small handful' - make sure that you weigh that handful, just to work out how many carbs you're eating. I don't normally advocate weighing, because the whole point of Bootcamp is to avoid that. But when you're 'cheating' it's worth understanding how much of a cheat it actually is!

Weighed in this morning - 3.25lb down from Thursday which is a good start. Just hope it continues.

I am 4 pounds down.

Well done everyone.

I'm only 2lb down... I know why this is but I think I could do with a bit of help to improve!

-need to drink more water
-have had trouble cutting out booze entirely (lots of big social events this month)
-eating too much cheese

Any ideas for snacks that don't include cheese or meat would be gratefully received! I know it's more tricky doing this diet as a veggie but I think if I plan better I can manage without eating cheese twice a day.

1lb off here (rounding up lbs) which is fine. I am having a horrid UC flare and am back on steroids which is a pain and haven't done any exercise since Wed so feel generally yucky.

Huge well done to all those who have had losses, and "keep the faith" to those who haven't lost or not lost as much as they would have liked. Remember it is not a race and we will all have good and bad weeks xx

BigStickBIWI · 14/01/2013 09:17

Some great losses here - brilliant! Thanks

And a good reminder from Collywibbles - we aren't in a race or a competition. Some people will lose more than others, as we're all different.

If you're following the rules (you are, aren't you?) then it will happen for you.

Wilding olives make a really good, low carb snack - and if you're veggie, then you can also have nuts. Roasted macadamias are the lowest in carb. Roasted almonds are also good.

Only 1lb down since last week, and am now 112lbs. I knew these last 3lbs would be a nightmare to shift. I am only 2 weeks away from finishing my P90X work out schedule, and I really want to get down to goal weight for final Day 90 photos... just need to keep on keeping on!

Still, have lost nearly 18lbs since I started LCing on Oct 1st, so am still happy.

Morning all, i am down just over 3lb, would have liked a little bit more but that'll do.

Hope you are all feeling positive for the week ahead.

Egg and bacon for breakfast today.

Well done to all of you! Some great losses.

Only 2lb for me in the last 10 days. I actually put a little bit back on as I was 4lb after the first few days.

Bit annoyed but reminding myself I had some great nights out (several birthdays) have been thoroughly enjoying my food and not feeling at all deprived. Plan for this week:

Try eliminating dairy (or vastly reducing)
No drinking now for a week or two
Increase water

Will see where that gets me

As I am seeing many other benefits from the WOE I have no inclination to go back to the clutches of carbs, whether or not I see fast weight loss like some of you.

Now to brave a run in the snow ---- < dedicated>

I'm going to weigh in at lunchtime when I take ds to his class at the leisure centre, I don't have my own scales due to being a bit mental in that dept. Confused Well done everyone so far!
