Right, so I'm officially on my Dukan diet first day!
The scales have been fairly kind to me, I'm only 77 Kg so need to lose only 17 Kg. grin. The Dukan website says I should get there by mid May. Wow that would be FANTASTIC!
So far I've had a Total 0% yogurt with oatbran and some thinly sliced roast chicken. I'm feeling dizzy though, and it doesn't help that DS wants to bf again.
Anyone else?

I can be your buddy! I'm starting Dukan tomorrow too. I've read the book (well some of it anyway) and done my shopping despite the snow! I am terrified of stepping on the scales tomorrow morning and equally terrified of being hungry and struggling. I expect to be around 80 kg and having to lose about 20 kg but will know with more accuracy tomorrow! I am really desperate to lose it now but have never done low carb before so I'm not sure if it'll suit me. I have a LO who's almost one year old that I'm still breastfeeding so in also concerned about supply dipping too (although at this stage it wouldn't be a disaster if it meant the end of bf but I would rather carry on!)
I have tried WW and lost 2 stones post birth but then for stuck because of sugar cravings mainly. I'm really hoping that cutting out all carbs will help me stop wanting to eat cake all day!

Hello! Nice to have people join me smile

Trying2b that is great and yes it would be fab to do it together smile

Specialsubject:thank you. I was wondering abt that. There is no fromage frais without bits of fruit in so unless if I get plain yogurt and add sweetener then oat bran, I am struck I think!

Bish that is absolutely fabulous! I must admit I did read the whole thread that was started previously in September and it is good reading with great ideas smile

I am now at 77.8kg so it is going down but I am finding hard sometimes. Today is our first pv day! We had DH birthday inbetween and we each had a piece of cake so we felt we should be on more pp to work it off.

I did the Dukan last summer and lost 2 stone . I have maintained my weight without being religious and although I put on a fair bit over Xmas I have lost it already by doing the attack again for a week . Good luck .smile

just a thought - fat free Activia is 9% sugar (simple carbs, quick release, quick crash, no nutrition)

hello! I dont know what the Dukan diet is yet but I am starting at 85kgs and want to get down to 65 so we have the same amount to lose!
shall we do it together?

I am trying to cut down on carbs & alcohol and have started a BuggyFit class. I am still BF and this seems to complicate the goal of losing weight.... my body is clinging onto its fat resrves with annoying tenacity!!!

Good Luck !

weight: 79.5 kg

Ok weigh in this morning :80.5 kg
That is a weight loss of 1.5 kg but of course most of it would be water but stil a step in the right direction for me.
Breakfast: Fat free activia with oat bran
Lunch: turkey slices omelette possibly
Dinner: Chichen liver with onions and spices ... hmm

Hello! Have been reading threads on the Dukan diet for some time and have finally started it today with DH

So Attack phase, day 1:
Start weight is 82 kg and I need to lose 20 kg (approx 40lbs) to reach true weight of 62 kg so a long way to go! sigh

Please feel free to join me smile
