Hi all, I joined slimmig world yesterday as I finally ready and motivated to get this weight off. Anyone else? Is there a support thread for those following slimming world? As I couldn't see one on here. If not anyone interested in helping to support each other here?

Well still here in my hotel room. I went for a walk around the two airport terminals (all under cover) but found very little of interest. Not a shop in sight!! So I grabbed my gym bag from my car and did 40 mins cardio and 50 lengths of the pool (12m long), before a steam!

Resisted desert at lunch and avoided the carbs - so hoping scales will be kind to me! Heading home tomorrow and back to qork and my usual routine!

I'm still in shock over the diet pizza

How can that be sad

14stone - wow - and I'm a pathetic 28th of that at 7lbs sad

And yes cushions smile

BadRoly Mon 18-Mar-13 21:54:27

Tiger - I last weighed in at 14st 11lb.

I'm 5ft 10 and a size 18/16 so yes, a large person grin

iklboo Mon 18-Mar-13 21:52:38

Found it & scent marked my place. They've got cushions over there!

tigerdriverII Mon 18-Mar-13 21:52:18

bean. Wow! That's a whole (rather big) person we've lost! Thanks for keeping the tally.

BadRoly Mon 18-Mar-13 21:50:16

Well done iklboo grin

I'm on the phone so have no idea how to link to new thread but I can bump it for you?

iklboo Mon 18-Mar-13 21:47:55

Can anyone link to new thread please?

iklboo Mon 18-Mar-13 21:45:43

1.5 off this week. That's the 1lb from last week plus a bit more. That'll do! 2lb off my 1.5 stone. Hopefully I'll get that next week.

Anyone tried the Luscious Lemon Hi-Fi bars? They're flipping yum!

BadRoly Mon 18-Mar-13 21:31:12

WOW! Well done us grin

beanandspud Mon 18-Mar-13 21:28:46

Before we move to the new thread I thought I'd better add up our total loss so far...

We've lost a total of 205lb or 14 stone 9lb

Hello all

Well done for starting the new thread, will be over there tomorrow probably (I have my WI tomorrow night, oooeer).

Not too bad on Friday. Had meal out on Sat night but made some good choices, I hope, rather a lot of the old vino and probably several days worth of HEas on the cheese front...

B: Cheese (HEa) and chive omelet

L: mugshot (I know, I go on about not liking them, then eat them)

D: pasta with puttanesca sauce, olive oil stirred in as Heb, salad, no cheese

A few drinks but not too many, mullerlights.

But best of all, did quite a bit of walking, and played football for half an hour with DS. Most unlike me, but enjoyable

B: left over pasta

L: cod with spinach and green beans - so far so good but it came in a very rich sauce, which I left, but probably a couple of syns along the way

D: SW cottage pie, I think, haven't decided yet

Snacks: hifi bar (HeB), oranges

I have had a mixed week, feel much more up for it than over the past few weeks, but am nervous that I'll have gained or STS again. Tomorrow will be a day of soup and tea in the hope that by the evening I'm not just full of food!

BadRoly Mon 18-Mar-13 20:30:10

Robbed Beans. I am still shaking my head in disgust...

beanandspud Mon 18-Mar-13 20:26:26

I'm sorry but half of a 'light' pizza is not a proper meal.

BadRoly Mon 18-Mar-13 20:24:06

Just checked again - pollo ad Astra Leggera pizza (1/2) 12.5 syns. I could have a real La Reine (well half) for 16...

Blondeshavemorefun Mon 18-Mar-13 20:14:20

Totally robbed !!!

Are you sure that's right??

That wasn't for a normal pizza??

BadRoly Mon 18-Mar-13 20:06:48

I felt robbed Blondes. Robbed I tell you. Pizza which someone has nicked the middle from and replaced with leaves. Next time I'm having the bloody calzone and sticking 2 fingers at SW wink

Blondeshavemorefun Mon 18-Mar-13 17:33:32

omfg 24 for those salady leggy pizzas shock

thats awful, esp as thin and crispy, barely any cheese and then chicken/veg on it

BadRoly Mon 18-Mar-13 16:59:42

Totted up obviously...

BadRoly Mon 18-Mar-13 16:59:19

Afternoon. I have rotted up my Syns for Saturday and reckon I had a weeks worth in one day.

I got all excited that a Pizza Express Leggera pizza is only 12 syns - then read it properly and saw it was for 1/2. Presumably 1/2 doesn't mean the bit they cut out of the middle...

Blondeshavemorefun Mon 18-Mar-13 16:52:10

oh no kiss tho cp is better to have when young

all the famillies i have looked after have had the pox

KissMyGrits Mon 18-Mar-13 16:17:29

Check us out onto a new thread already! Having a low syn yet not very healthy day today, not nearly enough super free.

Got both DC's covered in chicken pox, the youngest (2) is really bad and not sleeping at all. May need a glass of wine to knock me out later!

Yesterday was good though:

B: Bacon and egg sandwich
L: Chicken salad
D: Cottage pie (quorn)

Snacks: Mullerlight and a banana.

Blondeshavemorefun Mon 18-Mar-13 14:56:05
