Spreadsheet of Wonderfulness is here

Hope everyone is doing well.

I haven't weighed this morning - was a little bit distracted by a phone call from my lovely SIL in Australia, to announce the safe arrival of Gabriel Paul and Nell Florence Jean! Gabriel weighed 5lbs 2oz and Nell 4lbs 10oz, so good weights to say they are 3 weeks early.

So I'm a great aunty Grin

Off to a job interview in a min, but I weighed in and had made a 3lb loss after plateauing last week so that's a cheerful note to go off on!
Good luck to everyone, we're on the the downhill stretch now!

oh how lovely biwi!

well done to ilovemyteddy too

my random 3lb drop was the scales playing silly buggers as i thought - back up 2lb but still net 1lb loss so not complaining

away a lot with work this week so not sure how well i will be able to do, but we'll see

Congrats great-auntie Thanks - what great weights for twins who are early.

Almost 5lbs off for me! Back to basics really worked this week Smile

Congrats Great Aunt BIWI! Thanks

Congrats to BIWI and family! Glad to hear they have arrived safely.
1lb off for me this week and back at the gym. Meds are settling down a little so hoping by being good the scales will whoosh. I am surprised my no alcohol November is not having more impact on the scales

I'm not loving the 'great aunt' bit quite so much Grin

Brilliant loss, hurricane!

Glad to hear you have lost, Wine, and it's good news about the meds. It could be that the meds are having an impact though?

Lovely news BIWI.

WineGless you are doing so well with no alcohol. I did say I was going to abstain too, but life keeps getting in the way.

Food was a bit random over the weekend but no damage done. I weighed last Tuesday and liked what I saw, so I will update tomorrow.

My back is a lot better but I still have a horrible chesty cough. I am slightly panicking about my lack of Christmas preparation and the general state of the house so I will really need to get my arse in gear this week, regardless of how crap I feel.

I tried on my tightest/newest gym t-shirt this morning, and the results weren't too bad! I reckon I have half a stone to go now.

Well done BIWI

Have passed this thread on to my friend who is starting out with the low carb way of life. She wants to know if she's allowed salami, pepperoni or chorizo?

Look at those lovely skinny legs Biwi! I would kill for those legs. I am 5"2 and my legs are like stumps. Even if I get under 8 stone I reckon I will still have big thighs (grrr).

116 today for me, so another 1lb off, for a total of 13.6lbs off since Oct 1st. Am chuffed it's still going down, but a bit annoyed it's only 1lb for the last couple of weeks. I need a 2lb off next week I reckon, to remotivate me, so am going to be utlra strict this week (guests arriving on Monday as well so the wine will flow a bit - best try and be as prepared as I can!)

Thank you hurricane for saying I am nice. I think I am a bit of a tit, so it's nice when someone says your not!

2pumpkins - This WOE has worked for me, but only in as much as I am doing strict portion control at the same time. If I was just cutting out carbs and eating all the fat/protein I liked, then I am sure my results would have been a lot less good. I am doing the Zone diet (which is very similar to LCing, but with strict portion control and it's way more presciptive of what amounts of protein, fat and carb you can have). Results on my profile pic (and I am about half way through the diet now - I plan to keep going until Mid Jan).

Well done everyone! Here's to a great week for everyone!

Congrats BIWI, what lovely news......I have to say it bought a tear to my eye as I am a mummy to 2yr old twins & it made me think of them when they were that tiny!!

I've also read the recipe thread & some of the food sounds so yummy, think I'm gonna do big mushrooms with pancetta & cheese for dinner tonight.......mmm delish!!

Hope everyone has a good day.

Salami, pepperoni and chorizo are all allowable - but not every meal/every day, as they are pretty processed.

Yay, 2lb off.

So, I am now under 90kg (weigh in metric) and under 200lbs. I am pleased about the 200lb thing, as in american cop shows, the "perps" always seems to be described as "a big guy... 6 foot, 200lbs", which is very sobering when you're a 5'2 woman and weigh more than that...

Gulp. Onwards and downwards.

5'3 ! I am 5'3 really. That extra inch is precious !
