Week 7 - Little Black Dress Low Carb Bootcamp - Only 4 weeks left!

Confess all here

I see some have already been to check in this morning - fab!

So how are you all doing? I'm sensing that there's been a bit of wibbling and wobbling going on (present company included) so maybe it's time to have a couple of super strict weeks?

Given that the party season will soon be underway, a couple of Bootcamp weeks should consolidate our losses and hopefully get a few more of those pesky pounds out of the way.

Morning all! Thanks Biwi for new thread and big stick Grin
Half a pound up here but hovering just above target so not too bad
Monday's always a bad day after the wine and curry on Sunday evening but think I will give it my all Bootcamping for the next two weeks so that I've got a bit to play with over Christmas!
Well done all you losers.

Thanks - yes, I am cautiously optimistic that this is just a sniffley cold, whereas yesterday I was worried it was more flu-like. Glad I cancelled my gym session though!

well i thought i had got away with wine and chocolate consumption around my birthday as weight was stable over the weekend, but it has caught up with me this morning as i am 1lb up despite being very good saturday and sunday. you can run, but you can't hide

you are right biwi, it's time for proper strictness now, and i must do some PROPER EXERCISE as i haven't done so for nearly a month and that was one of my main goals during bootcamp!

Just under half a lb off this week - not great considering I have stones to loose. Lots of little cheats here & there (I know this isn't a forgiving WOE so I don't know who I think I'm fooling).

Def a couple of bootcamp weeks here - good as gold until the last week - want another 7lbs off by Christmas!

Morning all,

I stayed the same, but after a big loss last week and having TOTM just now, I'm ok with that.

Hope everyone has a good week.

FOrget to weigh this morning - understandable after the weekend of carbs/sickness/green chicken/leaks through the ceiling... Will weigh tomorrow.

Plumber has come, turned everything back on, but there is no leak! Everything re-pressurised, (incl me!) and it's fine! What's going on? He recommends leaving it on, and wait-and-see. He thinks it might be the tank (which is only 3 years old Angry) - if it is, we can have heating but no hot water. Sad

Anyway, breakfast - 3 egg omellette

Offto do Tescos.

Morning!

Captainmummy, that is odd isn't it. A leaking pipe doesn't just fix itself does it. Confused Fingers crossed that it doesn't happen again.

Well I've sts as last week. Well technically I've put a pound back on as mid week I was 9.8. BUT I am fine about it tbh. My own fault for eating pizza on Friday then downing my bodyweight in alcohol over the weekend. Ahh well, it was all good. Grin

Hope everyone has great day.

Confess is right Blush 6lb up on last week Shock That's got to be water gain, right? [deluded]

Am going to tweak the diet this week and see if I can set things going in the right direction again (i.e. not cheat quite so much, often or badly this week!)

I'm claiming half a pound off this week. This is because I've floated around the half pound off for days now, yet when I weighed this morning it was back on again. Seeing as my loss so far in the seven weeks is a solitary pound I'm having that half pound

I didn't expect to lose much but this has been a right headache. Health issues to blame sadly but at least I'm not gaining

1.5lbs off for me this week, very chuffed as I had my parents staying and there was pudding one night (dark chocolate mousse) and wine two nights.

Well done to all the losers - great work.

1lb on for me today but am working to get it off.

BIWI - think how much BIGGER the naughty step would have been with all our bums on it if we hadn't bootcamped! At least our bums are a little bit smaller, even though there are several of them.....

Didn't dare weigh this morning - it will be 9 3 or worse so no point.

Will have a good day today and weigh tomorrow.

Alpro yoghurt for brekkie.

Yes, Singing, I am looking elsewhere.

Well I weighed in but didn't like what I saw so I will try again tomorrow.

TOTM has just started and I haven't really been to the toilet for a few days so I am blaming that.

Was fairly good food wise over the weekend. We were away at our holiday home, kitchen still not fully finished so catering facilities limited. I survived on olives, Parma ham, macadamia nuts and pork scratchings. There was some real food too, mainly bacon and eggs.

By the way I refer to the holiday home as the shack. I don't want you all to think that I am posh or rich with some lovely little coastal cottage. It is an end terrace built in the 1980's covered with rough cast, avocado bathroom, artex, faux mahogany woodwork etc. We have finally managed to get rid of the smell of cat pee and damp. Still got a lot of work to do.

I still have a really bad cough from the cold I had last week. I seem to have hurt my back too with all the coughing I think. I put my back out a few years ago and was in agony for weeks. I hope to goodness this is just a pulled muscle because I am far too busy to be laid up with a sore back.

I STS this morning having been one pound down mid-week. The gain is definitely because of going out for dinner on Saturday. The restaurant was very special so I had some mindful cheats. In the old days any veering off my diet would have led to a full on blow out but what's great is that I enjoyed myself and left it at that. I've found that I've got a critical level of off piste after which the carb hangover the next day will be awful and that's definitely as much of a deterrent as pounds on if that makes sense? Hope everyone's having a good day.

Lunch - usual from protein counter at work - tuna, mayo, ham, 2 boiled eggs, salad leaves, cucumber.

Have had over a litre of water today so far, but also 2 decaf Americanos with a splash of whole milk in each

Managed to resist the cake, scones and other goodies at meeting this morning. It's getting easier as time goes on.
