thanks for the new thread, hope everyone has a good week

i've stayed the same too, but that's the effect of the forced cheats earlier this week and G&Ts to warm up after the fireworks on saturday

i must must must get back to the exercising, which i stopped doing when i had tonsillitis and haven't got back into the swing of (my getting better coincided with the clocks changing which didn't help as i now come home in the dark!). i've decided to concentrate on the running for now as it's what i enjoy so that will keep me motivated, and after christmas i'll look at more resistance training, and would like to run five days a week if i can

STS here too.

Not cheated as such, but a sweetener here and there, too much dairy and 80% choc have done their work.

Also my hips are a bit dicky at the moment and the ibuprofen makes me retain water, I think.

Bloomin' baltic here today. Didn't want to stay nekkid on the scales for too long!

Morning all, can't believe we're past halfway!

3.5 lbs off for me this morning. My first reading actually made it 4 but I was so flabbergasted I moved the scales around the floor a few times and took an average.

I am so chuffed! Just one cake cheat, rest of time been bootcamp good. So that's 15 lbs in total, over a stone feckity feck for me!!

BIWI, willie, dosh, winegless and everyone else thanks for all the thread support Thanks Thanks Thanks

Urgh, I'm a pound up. I've not cheated but due to the new puppy and numerous trips to Heathrow Airport, four times in a week :( , meals have been very irregular and I've relied on too many nuts, cold meats and cheeses and eaten too many Burger King Steakhouse Double Angus burgers without the bun. The BBQ sauce must have a ton of carbs and I keep forgetting to ask for it without.

Sleep has been very disturbed too. I'm sleeping in the Futility Room with the puppy and our old dog because I don't trust them alone together quite yet. Pup sleeps soundly most of the night but the other dog scratches, washes her paws and tummy loudly, moves around, rakes around her bedding to make a more comfortable heap, grumbles at the puppy if she gets too close, snores like a pig and yips and runs in her sleep. All bloody night! Then she wakes up at 6 o'clock and wants to go up the garden. She's an old girl and has got cancer so probably doesn't have too long left so I can't get mad at her but lord she's disturbing. Even the puppy gives her this look Hmm when she wakes her up at the crack of dawn.

Same as last week but I'm at the tail end of a period - always drop a bit the week afterwards.

I seem to lose weight in bursts and then stagnate for a bit. I might do a few days of non dairy this week and see how that feels.

Really pleased with my weight loss overall . Getting to under 10 stone now seems realistic.

1lb off this week. The food thing is going well, the wine thing is not Blush
Still 10lb total loss over five weeks is good.

I have lost a pound but I was up in the night with a sore throat so had a hot drink around 4am. I have also just been to the toilet and now feel much lighter. So I am going to weigh in again in the morning and hope that another pound has gone. I will update the spreadsheet then. Will serve me right if I have gone up.

Another pound gone overnight but still 1.5 pounds up on last week so not brilliant. Just popped into town after school run, bumped into friend and found myself drinking a chai latte in Neros. Never realised before how sweet they are, they were my favourite treat drink but must have a ton of sugar in them. All in all not a great start to the week but hopefully can only get better. Well done to everyone who's lost and commiserations to anyone in the same boat as me.

I can't get on the spreadsheet - it just loads for ages then I get a blank page. Can someone put me on - i stayed the same (again)!

I'm back on the exercise wagon as well now, hoping for a better result next week.

I lost another 2lb and that is being conservative as I don't trust my psycho scales. I am seriously thinking of going back to the old-fashioned dial type ones.

This morning I appeared to have put on half a stone, after a sharp intake of breath I stepped off and on again and 5lb of it went. Repeated the process 3x and got a different number each time so have taken a sensible guess. I haven't been optimistic as we are away for the next 2 weekends and I don't want to depress myself further down the line.

I have now lost 15lb on this bootcamp and 23lb from when I first started. Although it has not made a huge difference as I have a lot to lose I think I am beginning to see and feel a bit of a change myself. Thanks to all for your support!

GOOD NEWS! DS HAS MADE IT HOME!! Not spoken yet as he lives "darn sarf" but he has texted and will ring later. What a relief!

Well done Viperidae! 15lbs is amazing, and 23 is getting towards 2 stone! You must be well chuffed! I also like your strategy of putting a very low weight on the spreadsheet, meaning you are the biggest loser (% wise) every week - very clever Wink

I am 2lbs down this week, so am now 118lb and can fit into my skinny jeans . Still a little way to go to get my legs looking the way I want them to though! 11.9lbs off since bootcamp began - woop!

Keep going everyone!

Haha Boobz, if only that were true! I almost confused myself with that last week too!

Instead of approaching this as dieting I am trying to think long term so I have set myself some aims which are to be healthier by eating healthily and sustainably and exercising more. Maybe I should add reaching a weight that I am not too embarrassed to write down to that!

Report
MsRinky · 05/11/2012 12:13

2lb off. Not bad, but not great, as I had stayed the same for the last couple of weeks. I know slow and steady is the best way, but it's pretty wearing when you have a lot to lose.

Anyway, I am at the Dr's tonight for my pill check and they will weigh me. Not sure how much I weighed last time (a year ago). I think I should be about 20kg (44lb) down, so I hope they are pleased with me.
