Has anyone used this VLCD? It seems to have a wider range of products than others I've seen but it's very expensive so I don't want to waste money if it's a load of shite.

Hi i've just started on slim and save (its my second day today) i've tired lipotrim before but just couldn't stick to it, slim and save appealed to me as it has a larger variety of products and i get to have four packs a day instead of just 3 shakes. So far i seem to be doing ok the taste of the packs is a lot nicer than lipotrim and because you can get things like mushroom pasta and chillie i don't feel as deprived as i feel like im eating something. I also have a sweet tooth so i got their bars and i have one with a cup of coffee in the afternoon. Smile

I've been doing a it about a week and am happy with the products and results - lost 6& 1/2 pounds today and almost all of food tastes great. I gagged at the oatmeal but this balances out with scrummy shakes/spicy spaghetti/mushroom pasta.
Still missing things, more habitual than hunger though. Like crisps & eating remainder of little ones fruit salad. I confess to have pinched 3 choc fingers & licked some of her crisps then threw them away rather than eating them Blush

I've ordered some of the products as samples and see how I get on. I need to do something as have tried loads over the years, I'm such a fussy bugger though that purely shakes etc is no good for me. Hoping this is going to work.

So far I like all the products I've tried except the sweet porridge that was vile! I'm finding it ok to stick to during the day but struggling a bit once the DC are in bed as thats the time I usually reward myself with a big piece of cake or chocolate for getting through the day! But I really need to stick to this I'm so miserable all the time because of my weight Sad

Well I'm hoping my stuff will arrive by the end of the week and I'll let you know how I get on. Is it weird that I'm apprehensive about starting?

No I felt exactly the same Smile i'm hoping to do this until I've lost 3 stone I do find that I have a battle going on in my head with one voice saying its ok just eat something try slimming world again etc etc and another voice saying no stick to this because it's the only way you're going to get results as fast ad you want them. So far the good voice had won Grin it does take a lot of willpower and I've actually surprised myself so far! I hope it goes well for you and you get the results you want Smile

I need to lose around 5.5 stone to get to a healthy weight but I'd be happy with 3 to start which I'd like to achieve by my 30th birthday in November.

I can highly recommend slim & save. Loved the product and their customer service is fab. I lost over four stone on this vlcd at the start of this year and have now switched onto a low carb plan as my body wanted food. And yes the weight has stayed off so far :)

I still have a load of sachets left over so I might have a couple of weeks back on it soon as I still want to get rid of another 1 to 2 stone.

I was really nervous before starting but once d-day arrived I was determined to do it. Try cutting back on your carbs and upping your water intake before your packs arrive and it might help with the first couple of days of getting into ketosis.

DCAC - evenings are my worst time as well due to having young dc. I try to keep busy with crochet and drink lots of water. I also used to have a bar in the evening once they were in bed.

good luck everyone :)

Well I can highly commend Slim & Save's customer service so far. I Blush sent an email to them mistakenly meant for my parents, gawd knows how I did it but at 11pm last night they emailled me saying they had received this email in error and they would delete it but just so I wasn't awaiting a reply that would never come they wanted to let me know they had received it. Very personal customer service.

Hi I am another fan of Slim and Save. The meal packs, bars and milkshakes are lovely. Customer service is fabulous as well.

Yep and great delivery service, text to my phone giving me a time for delivery. My samples are here, they don't look very tasty but I'm definitely up for it. I am doing two nightshifts this weekend so am deliberating over whether to start and hopefully beat the hunger by sleeping through the day and eating at odd times anyway or waiting until Tuesday when I'm off to deal with any potential side effects. Ideas?

Benedict don't worry about what they look like they are really tasty. There are only a couple of the meals that I am not too keen on. The chocolate milkshake is my favourite. The bars are lovely too but I don't have them that often as I prefer to have milkshakes and meals. I have lost 19lbs in 3 weeks and my skin is glowing. I have a fair way to go but this is really the only type of diet that works for me.

When I first started the diet I was quite sleepy for the first 4 days and then got loads of energy. If you don't want to start during your two night shifts maybe low carb as it is a good way to get ready for the diet.

I too am on day 5. Only lost 2lbs so far but will continue until packs run out. The oatmeal is vile! Bars really good shame only 1 a day.
