Yay! Congrats WWYD and ds.

Cheese I saw both those chaps when they were in Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat way back in the early 90's. Phillip was the better of the two! (and I seem to remember Gordon the Gopher making an appearance too).

POAS will be happening this morning. Ds went to sleep finally last night at 4.35. As you can guess by my stupid posting time, he has done it again. Been up since 3.30am. I feel like death warmed up. Dh just woke up and came in all cross (that helps) but what can you do? I just have to wait for him to get tired again. Tried feeding him and putting him in bed with me. Not working.

Now, who else can we pin on the wall... I think I'll pop up my Lost Boys poster Grin Now don't tell me you young whippersnappers haven't heard of that one?!

Oh, and aside from feeling very tired, I am feeling very confused Pixie. Today is day 37. All sorts of weird and wonderful sensations in the oven department and nothing happening!

At least the world athletics is good to watch at the mo. Would rather be in bed though... Hmm

Morning! Fried egg sandwich again (bleurgh). Bit fed up of them now but I need a decent amount of protein in the mornings, plus it's quick.
Griddled turkey steaks for lunch, prob with roast veg or salad. Don't know what later - will have to do a shop today as been slack and not done my online order.
Must resolve not to drink much tonight.

Meant to ask: are you alll exercising regularly as well? I'm pretty ad hoc I'm afraid. Have started with several DVDs and keep it up for a bit, but seem to find it ever so easy to just not do it one day, then suddenly I'm no longer exercising.
Latest one to fall by the wayside was Brazilian Beach Butt Blush. it was actually pretty good, and I managed to do it every day for a week of my holiday (well, there's not much else to do, is there?), but haven't started again since getting home. Must try harder!

Morning from deepest darkest Norfolk, I finally found enough data signal to get on MN.
Nice new gaff girls! I hope you are all well, we are having a nice time despite the rain. I'm drinking too much wine and eating too much bread and it is DS1 birthday today so It's party tea later.
WWWY, I'm not exercising a huge amount only 1 class a week, but I do try to walk for 20mins at lunchtime at work and it does seem to make a difference with the loss.
Bee sorry DS us sleeping pants, we had a good night here DS2 slept til 4.30! he does go back to sleep once I bring him into bed so its not so bad. I should.know what POAS is but I can't recall it at the moment

I try and up to the gym 2-4 times a week, it's variable. I do classes:2x zumba, 1x body pump, 1x pilates. I've bought shred and zumba wii. Have done shred a couple of times.

Exercise has fallen by the wayside this wk as am still feel sick from Fri night. I am not going to zumba today as I'm so tired and the thought of dashing to the gym, quick turnaround, get on tube with buggy, meet friends for lunch, then home. Then family arriving for BBQ later. Felt like it was too much.

But yes. I exercise and norm I love it!

Waves at hedge! Happy birthday to your DS. Glad you are having a Locely hol. Youve lost 3 stone, you deserve a break Smile

Report

Yes Hedge you deserve a nice diet break - and happy birthday to ds as well.

Sorry you're still feeling pants Cheese. Today sounds quite full on!

POAS = pee on a stick. I did and it was a BFN Sad. So, where the doodads is AF? Anyway. Ds decided to drop off at 5.15, and then the household woke up 2 hours later. So I still feel like poo and am being a bit short-tempered.

Food for the day:

Bacon sandwich SW style
Toast and fruit
Left over pork meatballs in spicy sauce and broccoli

This months SW mag has been a revelation as far as mince goes, not only do you need to watch which low fat pork mince you get, check the turkey mince too (if you use it). It says the only syn free one is Sainsbury's. All the rest have a syn value. Some very yummy stuff in there, and an extra little recipe book too.

Sorry about BFN, might be worth a retest in a few days if AF doesn't appear.

Thanks guys Smile

Hedge it takes one hell of a lot of willpower to lose 3 stone. If you put on a couple of pounds due to yummy meals, cakiness and alcohol you'll know just how you did it, you'll have enjoyed it - but you will know how to get rid of it again! You can say the same to me in a few weeks Wink

Cheese Normally my ov day was around day 18, so I'm thinking the reality of being pg and it not showing this far past would be very slim?

Anyway. I need to catch up Hedge and join the 3 stone club Grin

Off to the pub to drink a diet coke now. Woohoo.

Hiya. I'm back after my debauched weekend, I drank lots and lots of wine and Jaiger shots. Not good. I feel like absolute death today!!! On the plus side food wise I've been quite restrained. Made a SW version of a full English Breakfast at lunchtime, and it was almost as good. Just missed having 3 slices of white toast with it though!! I'm hoping to be super on it till my first weigh in on Thurs, I'm hoping to have lost to keep up my motivation. But with the amount of alcohol I consumed last night, this might be a pipedream.....

Congrats bee, by the way, great news!!

Ladies can I join your thread please?

I'm in my first week of SW (weigh in is Thursday). I want to lose at least 3 stone between now and spring 2012 so I can start shopping for wedding dresses! (My SW leader reckons I could lose 4st by Christmas but I think that's an over-exaggeration)

I am finding it wierd how much carbs we are allowed to eat (have done WW previously). Even if you have some form of pasta salad for lunch and lean meat with potatoes in the evening is it possible to lose weight?!?

Today I have had:

Poached eggs, grilled mushrooms and h.e. bacon
fruit & mullerlight yog
SW curry with rice

Hedgepig · 28/08/2011 21:39

Hiya Jobcar.etc welcome to our merry throng. You can loose weight with all the carbs, it is fab Grin. I think 4 stone by Christmas would be pushing it unless you were mega strict, I have lost 3 stone since March so I think you spring 2012 target is totally achievable.

I have eaten a million cheese puffs tonight and I feel bleugh

I am on my way home from the airport Grin
Had a lovely time but am feeling very ill. How the hell I ended up with a cold in Cyprus I'll never know. My back is killing me after the 4 1/2 hour flight.
I've booked my next gym class for Tuesday already (how's that for dedication?!)
Hope I've not put too much on and I hope your weather wasn't too bad while I was gone Grin

Hello ladies, may I join along too?

Have been successful with SW before in the old Green & Red days & the EE, as good as it is, leaves me a bit Confused

Haven't been along to group for about 3 weeks now but the news on my scales at home isn't very cheery. This has all been interspersed (hope that's the right word) with me doing a shake diet which was just awful & gave me a kick up the bottom to realise how good the SW plan is.

So BH Monday so far:
B= 2x weetabix, banana & coffee.

WhatsWrongWithYou · 29/08/2011 08:26

Hi Lizardqueenie -I'm a newbie too! < slaps LQ's wrist for succumbing to shake diet > it's over now, though - onwards and upwards!
Know what you mean about EE, it never seemed to work for me either.
Beans on toast for me.
