Not tried either as diet per se but use McKenna to stop my chocolate cravings and it worked. I listened to the CD every night for about 4 weeks then every other night then every few nights then weekly etc etc. Worked for me.
Good luck and well done for what you've achieved so far.

I have used bits of both. Neither is perfect IMO.

Use Paul M to keep motivation up in general, help me eat slower, only snack when hungry. But might be hard to get quick weight loss in small timeframe.

Used dukan for several months - now on "consolidation" but have adapted it a bit.

Things I like about dukan:
a) acknowledges consolidation maintenance plan
b) low carb diet very effective
c) He allows dairy!
d) He encourages daily weighing!

Things I don't like:
a) I hated protein only days
b) I love vegetables too much too go without!
c) I ended up eating too much dairy (although less than dukan allows) on PP days and as a result didn't lose as well on these days as PV days. I abandoned PP days quite quickly!

I now am at target but still follow dukan's consolidation principles.

I have only used Paul (lost 2 stone so far) but have never tried Dukan. Paul is working, I can eat what I like so thats enough for me grin

That must have been the journal you looked at, I dont usethat. I read the actual book which explaisn it, and now I just listen to the CD daily. No tick boxes for me lol.

Yeah another vote for Mckenna here smile the rules are; 1. eat when you're hungry but eat slowly and consciously 2. eat what you want.

i've lost 2 stone as well and am maintaining (i eat for health).
